Burob:APC with their evil politics actually frustrated his efforts especially with that incompetent Fashola that said 6 months is enough to generate steady power in Nigeria. Berth Nnaji had good plans for Nigeria in regard to power generation but APC lead by Tinubu, Bakare, Buhari, Fashola and Co said NO. |

yarimo:Owned by private people, just like the Dangote refinery. It’s another example of the privatisation and deregulation policies of PDP that gave us 16 years of widespread prosperity. Can you imagine how clueless APC propagandist liars would still be recycling fake news about NNPC refineries, if we didn’t have Dangote refinery ![]() Princecalm:>> >>>> saintopus: |

Wether it was done before him or after him, all state governors should emulate Abia state |
| Re: Abia Unaffected By National Grid Collapse - Governor Otti by Mrexcell(m): 1:28pm On Jan 31 |
Delta state has all it takes to even surpass abia with their huge gas deposits but poor leadership for years in the state won't make that happen anytime soon. |

Mrexcell:Is it only Delta ? What about rivers, Akwa ibom and Bayelsa. These two states has abundance of oil and gas deposits. Instead of their governors to use their brain and provide good governance for their people, they are busy decamping to Apc and shouting on your mandate we shall stand. Ss has the worst set of governors in Nigeria. What they know is collecting allocation every month and be doing absolutely nothing!! Abia state now have constant power and electricity even the national grid doesn't affect them anymore while Akwa ibom, Bayelsa and rivers are still wallowing in darkness. |
| Re: Abia Unaffected By National Grid Collapse - Governor Otti by Emekadollars(m): 1:38pm On Jan 31 |
The Governor is correct. I'm in Umuahia, Abia state capital and can attest to the constant electricity. Those of us over here are not even aware of any collapse in the national grid. It's 24/7 power up here. Otti is good and God sent. No be cho cho cho |

Image123:Which yeye Buhari and Tinubu? All thanks to Goodluck Jonathan, Ngozi Okonji Iwuala and Alex Otti. They are the drivers of that project. Barth Nnaji said on the day of commissioning that Alex Otti helped them with funds while he was in Diamond Bank. Shettima was there when he said it For your information I submitted my CV for work there in 2011 when I finished my youth service. Una dey ment with foolish propaganda. |
| Re: Abia Unaffected By National Grid Collapse - Governor Otti by peleson1: 1:53pm On Jan 31 |
Burob:Is Prof. Barth Nnajibstill not alive? What has APC done to improve on power supply ? Nothing!! Only to share TSN among themselves and increase power and electricity bill to steal more money. Can nepotism and tribalism allow APC take him as the minister of power?! No |

There are over 3000 power plants in the USA. In Nigeria there are less than thirty. To develop as a Nigerian city you need your own power plant like Aba |
| Re: Abia Unaffected By National Grid Collapse - Governor Otti by Mrexcell(m): 2:13pm On Jan 31 |
stanluiz:The root cause is because of the lack of quality human capital in those states there are people richer than bath nnaji in delta, bayelsa and rivers states but they will rather use their wealth to build mega hotels than invest it in power generation. |

| Re: Abia Unaffected By National Grid Collapse - Governor Otti by hotseat: 2:17pm On Jan 31 |
Governor Alex Otti is a governor to watch! He is definitely a trailblazer as far as power generation, transmission and distribution is concerned in Abia State, aka, "God's Own State". Other States of the federation need to borrow a leaf from the Abia State model if these incessant national grid collapse is to be addressed once and for all. Abia State is a role model for other States to emulate! @hotseat |
| Re: Abia Unaffected By National Grid Collapse - Governor Otti by Image123(m): 2:23pm On Jan 31 |
Macphenson:But you are literate na. Without Electricity Act 2023, the IPP will be under the national grid. |
| Re: Abia Unaffected By National Grid Collapse - Governor Otti by hotseat: 2:28pm On Jan 31 |
yarimo:This is criticism borne out of bitterness and there's nothing constructive in it. If the Governor had shown no interest in that sector, the story would have remained the same for hapless Abians till date. Learn to appreciate good things when you see them. You won't kpai by so doing! Haba! @hotseat |
