Considering our population we should be at 60 trillion dollars if not for corruption and genocide against Christians, Christians build wealth so without them the country will remain stagnant. |

If Jagaban and his apprentices will agree to leave Nigeria alone, things will improve. Before you attack, explain how come over ₦7bn was budgeted for solar installation in Aso Rock and this year, another over ₦7bn for fuel and fuel generators. Let's just pretend these sums were actually put to use. Let's just pretend. |

China rose from an underrated country in the '70's, whose population could only find work in foreign countries like the United States, as rail road builders and chefs, to the most commercially viable entity in the world. Nigerians need a common dream and a rallying point to surmount all challenges. Otherwise we'd be relegated to doom scrolling through others doing well. |

The vision is trillion, we move. Funny enough, we can jump to 30 if Tinubu stops naira floatation for six months for half its value. Na the wuruwuru we dey do for decades be that oh. Tactics wey we cast. |

GDP is not an accurate method of a countries wealth. How do you explain that when we were top 20, our government was borrowing to pay salaries. Now we aren’t in the top 50 and decade old pension arrears are being paid. |

patrikoolar:common dream requires that you destroy tribal and religious identities. It sounds harsh but it is the truth. Without that we are basically swimming with shackles on our feet. Note that I didnt say destroy the religions and tribes themselves but the identities. Basically the way Rwanda destroyed tribal identities post genocide. |
| Re: GDP By Country 2025: See Where Nigeria Is. by monex(m): 2:06pm On Feb 01 |
eazzzy1:GDP is the best (although for quality of life you need to divide per capita and factor in wealth distribution) estimate of a country's wealth. Government revenue (or better solvency e.g. ability to pay salaries) is actually a poor estimate of a country's wealth. Govt revenue is Nigeria is basically tax and oil windfall. The current govt is generating more revenue via taxes. |

patrikoolar:China not having election every 4 years help them. Election introduces bitter division among the citizens - that is one of the cons of democracy - a case study of the USA and Nigeria. For China, it is easier to achieve a long-term plan than all the countries practicing democracy |

jmoore: It is not fake. Comprehension is the problem of many of you. The stats is about recent contribution to global GDP growth, not the real GDP per se. Those who could not comprehend the meaning of that report and those using it to score political points are both clueless. SMH. 👇

Israel of less than 10 million people has more than double of the GDP of Nigeria that is over 200 million people. If you are against the partitioning of Nigeria, think about this |
| Re: GDP By Country 2025: See Where Nigeria Is. by Antoeni(m): 2:18pm On Feb 01 |
Governments of OBJ, Yar’adua, and GEJ significantly grew certain sectors of the Nigerian economy and GEJ’s government captured these sectors which were not previously captured in our GDP. The sectors they added include Telecom and ICT, Entertainment and Media (including content creators), E-commerce, Real Estate and Construction, Financial Services like Banking and insurance, Hospitality and Tourism (Hotels, restaurants, tourism), Transportation (including Air travel). TPain hasn’t done anything new except make people poorer so what they’re trying to do is spend a lot of tax payers’ money to rebase the economy and include activities like street hawking, artisans like tailors, domestic work like house cleaning etc. |
