That the coup plotters planned to kill tinubu, shettima, Akpabio and several other top government functionaries is just a spin from the incompetent APC led government to curry sympathy from Nigerians. I pity the plotters because they are already on a journey of no return. Don't involve in coup in country like Nigeria because if it fail bro you are gone too soon and the chance to succeed has many factors only a lucky personnel can make it through.

Nigeria is too complex to plan coup easily and succed because of conflicts of interest. We are people of many countries in one ountry. Many languages, many religions, many believes in one country and to cap it all how dare a Colonel planning coup in Nigeria and think he will succeed? Here is not Burkinafaso or Mali or Gambia. The guy is a fool didn't he aware of how many thousands of Colonels in Nigeria army, Hundreds of Brig. Gen and Major Gen and Generals how did he reason it? Even within his Col rank there are so many Col same rank with him who still senior him. I belong to this background and understand all the formations.

Greed and lack of sense will send him to where he never dream of soon.
