EquityM:I have fully joined CS fixed but I can't see to find my way around DLM to onboard. I have never seen a siite or manager as difficult as them to onboard. Please, kindly guide me on how you go about your registration and the genuine or direct link to them. Regards. |

Chief, I need to work hard for ten years to make that money here even though I am working overseas. I will try to do 50M with Zrosk gradually, and once I hammer, I will do the CSOF for sure. Iamblessed88: |

I currently have ARM ethical fund through palmpay which seems more like a balanced fund and so far it's doing great. It's currently at 58% 1 year return. EquityM: |

Cool. Some fund managers are just really bad at doing their task. Arizona86: |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Arizona86: 5:28am On Feb 02 |
I have a question. I've been trying to build my portfolio gradually and so far I have above 15m across different platform, specifically ARM and Stanbic equity fund. Somebody wants to sell a plot of land for 12m and I'm considering buying it. The implication is that I will have to liquidate parts of my investment for this and I may not be able to continue building my portfolio because my income that would've ordinarily go into my portfolio will now be used to develop the land. I'm also considering the madness going on with housing in Nigeria where a 2 bedroom flat is nothing less than 1.5m/yr in a moderate area and in years to come it will still go up. Guys pls what would advise? Should I continue to build my portfolio as I treat it as a side business for me or I should put all my investment in buying and developing the land? |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 5:59am On Feb 02*. Modified: 6:50am On Feb 02 |
Keep the equity and ARM. Use the other funds to buy the land by splitting the funds. You can now develop the house using your own income while waiting for ARM and the equity fund to bring huge gains. Try and buy the land immediately, and start building gradually from the gains and other channels you have. Don't neglect your portfolio totally because you still need money for other things even though you have a house. Lastly, buy the land, fence it, get all the right papers, and then plan on how to build it. Arizona86: |

EquityM:DLM fixed income vs Cardinal Alpha if you had to pick one? |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 8:47am On Feb 02 |
CardinalStone's platform is more user-friendly. Nevertheless, I don't see red in DLM, but both have high daily returns if the market is bullish. By July, I will know which one performs better when they both pay dividends. t33why: |

EquityM:Nice advice you rendered Chief. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Beeron: 9:12am On Feb 02 |
Arizona86:First of, how old are you? If you in your 20s to late 30s, pass up on the offer now and continue to aggressively build your portfolio till you 45 or alternatively, if this deal is a sweet deal you can hardly come by again, then withdraw your investment, use it to buy the land and go take a loan proportional to the worth of the land using the same land as collateral, then use the loan to rebuild your portfolio and keep the land secured. When you turn 45, you would have amass enough to begin building as you pay off loan from your regular job income now plus gains from your portfolio investment. By then your land would have also increased in resale value. Option 2 - If you are 45 and above already, just go on with your plans, liquidate your portfolio, get the land and begin your building project. (I don't know if you currently live in your own house or renting) but anyway, Build a kind of house such that you will be living upstairs and rent out downstairs and if possible, Boysquarter by the side. While you are building, I would have recommended you take a loan to re-build your portfolio and use the land as collateral but naaah, it's a bad idea because you won't be able to service the loan since you have building project taking resources from you. |

EquityM:Thank you, DLM onboarding really isn't user friendly. I keep getting errors |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Smattrader: 10:22am On Feb 02 |
t33why:You can say that again, I experienced the error issue but I just successfully completed my registration though. In my own case, it was the last form, the bank detail forms where I was asked to provide my bank name I e, I applied ' First bank ' it was showing error until I adjusted it to ' FirstBank ' . I hope this helps. 👉 |

t33why:If the registration is this tedious, i wonder what the redemption process will look like... what's with the we are offline thingy? Are they never online? |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Smattrader: 10:48am On Feb 02 |
t33why:Well , the problem I am having presently now is that I am unable to login and when I request for a password or new one , no message show up in my inbox. I think cease from investing with them for now. This isn't a good sign especially for liquidation future. I fear for my money. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by Smattrader: 10:50am On Feb 02 |
IamtheDef:Exactly, this is why I will ceasing my investment with them for now. They are too lag and static for a modern manager. I fear for my liquidity days. |
| Re: Equity Investment. by t33why: 10:59am On Feb 02 |
Smattrader:I'm with you on this, when you meet these fund managers that stress you, it's then one appreciates those that provide seamless platforms |
