WriteerNg:there was an energy ceasefire for instance, you will be unable to find a strike on the grid from two or three days ago the ceasefire was just a gesture didn't really affect much because the grid is now very weak and the ceasefire window was short not enough time to reinforce the grid putin should keep those gestures to a minimum they cost him invaluable domestic political capital -Lord |

statement from president pezeshkian authorizing iran's participation in negotiations In response to the request of friendly governments in the region to reply to the proposal of the President of the United States for negotiations, I have instructed the Foreign Minister that, should an appropriate atmosphere free from threats and far from unreasonable expectations exist, he should prepare the ground for fair and equitable negotiations based on the principle of dignity, wisdom, and expediency within the framework of national interests. erdogan is going to riyadh and cairo this week the arabs and turks believe this is a new, unique, unprecedented opportunity to create the foundations of a new regional security architecture that excludes the israelis and unites the shia-shiite blocs as always the qataris want to throw cash at iran to get them to be amenable to qatari interests the turks see this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity iran however only cares about a narrow nuclear deal where the us removes all sanctions, release frozen assets, and there are firm guarantees against a 2019 unilateral withdrawal repeat the biggest losers so far are the israelis and europeans the israelis for obvious reasons the europeans because no one values their input not the us, not the arabs, not the turks, and certainly not the iranians the 🤡 show of kaja, merz, macron have destroyed european credibility on the iran file the israelis and beltway hawks are still very optimistic about a war from their perspective, negotiations serve two functions: 1. the loudmouth gets to acquire political legitimacy for war. everyone even the grandma at home will be aware that they tried everything to avoid war. war would seem like the option of last resort because the evil iranians refused to make a deal. 2. talks close off the possibility of an iranian pre-emptive strike while they are reinforcing their positions. consequently, they can derail talks and start the war whenever they're ready without any risk. on the question of what concessions the persians are willing to make the only public concession floated is from admiral shamkhani, former secretary of the nsc, former chief of the irgc navy, and one of the few survivors from the negotiating team that was targeted in the 12d war the admiral said the enrichment level of the 60% uranium can be reduced to 20% removal of highly enriched uranium which had been seen as a viable concessions has been publicly shot down as i repeated yesterday the bottleneck remains israel i don't think the loudmouth has it in him to sign a deal that the israelis severely oppose i think he has agreed to negotiations as a way to cover his a$$ when this sh*t blows up because then whatever happens, someone else will be the scapegoat if the israelis try to derail and f*ck it up, it is netanyahu's fault if a war starts and they predictably get f*cked up, it is the fault of hegseth and the pentagon generals who were given all the time in the world and all the assets available of a trillion dollar military and couldn't make it count but if sh*t works, he gets credit all reports about demands and concessions should be taken with a grain of salt until the weekend/early next week witkoff meets the israelis today and the iranians will be coordinating with their allies -Lord |

⚡Ukraine and its western allies have agreed on a three-step enforcement plan for any future ceasefire with Russia. If Russia violates a truce, the response would escalate from diplomatic warnings (within 24 hours) to European military intervention, and finally to a US-backed military response within 72 hours if attacks continue. The plan was discussed by Ukrainian, European, and US officials in recent meetings and is meant to prevent a repeat of past failed ceasefires like the Minsk agreements, which collapsed due to lack of enforcement.

WriteerNg:sometimes before you talk you have to breathe in and out The US is a multi culture country something goes for UK, France etc. Most of this countries have a good number of African population as far WW1. The Africans fighting for Russia, were they forced? .. yes, blacks fighting for Russia have been forced, deceived, or coerced. Some are from prisons, some were deceived with work, some were recruited by people like you. You talked about North Korea.......🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Seriously bro, how many Africans are in North Korea. Don't argue base on emotion argue with fact and small sense |

sainttwist1: You be proper dunce. So Russia came to Africa to bundle those men and ship them to the war front? Was it not their greed and desperation that led them there? The same greed that can make your kind sell their mother for US visa. For the umpteenth time, it wasn't Russia that lured them to the war front. Indian and Pakistani Recruiters desperate for commission from the Russian MOD are the ones baiting Africans with job offers. If you're as smart as you say you are, you would have carefully read the stories of those African men that found themselves on the frontlines. One thing all their stories have in common is that there's no mention of Russian Embassy or Russian MOD or any official Russian government agency. It is ALWAYS a random job offer from a so called Job Agency. Now if you do a proper research on the so called job agency, you'd find out they're operating from India or Pakistan. They pay for your trip to Russia and hand over your document to the Russian MoD claiming you voluntarily signed up to fight. They get their commission from the Russian MoD. It's a big business in India. |

⚡Last night, at least 18 Russian Geran-2 drones attacked energy infrastructure in Odesa Oblast. At least 10 drones impacted the "Chernomorka" 110 kV electrical substation in the city of Chornomorsk, just south of Odesa City. This resulted in widespread power outages for parts of Chornomorsk and southern Odesa. Additionally, Geran strikes were carried out on a substation in northern Odesa, resulting in additional power outages for the northern suburbs of the city. Both attached images are from Chornomorsk. https://x.com/AMK_Mapping_/status/2018576309778260218?s=20 |

LordAdam16:Israel has historically sabotaged efforts to reach deals it deems unfavorable. From the killing of Haniyeh in Iran when a deal was about to be reached to the strike against Iran in the middle of an ongoing negotiation to the strike on Qatar intended to kill Hamas officials who were there for a negotiation. Even if U.S. finally acquiesce to a fair deal with the Iranians israel would still go rogue as usual. Israel wants this war between U.S. and Iran badly and Trump's tenure could be the last opportunity to have this war. The Iranians should not relax they should remain vigilant. |

1/3 now that negotiations appear to be a go and simmer things down to room temperature for the next two weeks expressly because of iran's deterrence by denial enabled by its strategic leverage via hypersonics, resistance axis, and strait of homuz it is time to revisit the age-old "should iran have acquired a nuclear weapon" question conventional means appear to have deterred the yanks... twice on the surface that may appear to support the argument that iran only needed a nuclear program to create a leverage it could use to eliminate forever economic sanctions the thinking goes, without a nuclear program, the us would sanction them to oblivion and israel will attack repeatedly until the regime collapses under its own weight i now firmly believe there is no justification for iran not to acquire a nuke i consider khamenei's 2003 fatwa as big of a blunder as hitler marching on moscow i consider his 23 year and running refusal to retract that fatwa as proof he is easily in the top 3 of persia's most tragic shahanshahs i'll explain why -Lord |
| Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by LordAdam16: 2:29pm On Feb 03*. Modified: 5:49pm On Feb 03 |
2/3 before i get into the greatest strategic blunder in the history of modern iran let's go over the very real and very legitimate reasons why iran refused to acquire a nuke we are currently approaching this question with the benefit of hindsight khamenei and his advisors did not have that in the months preceding his fatwa none of them were prescient they had to rely on a limited cross section of inputs to make a consequential decision that is as much slack as i can send their way the biggest reason for iran not pursuing a nuclear program is the big red bullseye it paints on the regime from a counter-intelligence viewpoint, iran is very porous i cannot overstate how porous iran is north korea, cuba, pakistan these are fortresses compared to iran and cuba is literally an island that the us can see every water craft heading to it iran is bordered by turkey, pakistan, afghanistan, azerbaijan, and iraq on its borders are turks, kurds, balochs, azeris its like hausa communities on the nigerian and nigerien sides of our border they're the same people, with the same language, same customs divided by an arbitrary line put simply, for various reasons iran does not appear capable of keeping a nuclear weapon development secret between divided loyalties, corruption, and greed; usrael will learn of it within days and then there'd be war back in the early 2000s iran had barely any defense, its missiles were rudimentary, and it only had hezbollah as a formidable proxy it needed to buy time the second top reason was economic north korean or cuba like sanctions are catastrophic for iran back then they had reason to believe that if they gave up the ambition of a nuclear weapon they could convince the hegemony to not aggressively target them economically case in point were syria, iraq, and libya their nuclear programs were either directly or indirectly shut down and their leaders were still in office libya was an economic success story and ghadaffi became a tentative western ally of course all of that went to sh*t shortly after in 2002, when they were making the decision, the question was north korea or libya and they chose libya afterwards, they had sunk cost fallacy that seemed to have paid off in 2015 with the jcpoa until donald bush was elected i'm not going to get into all of the other reasons let's get into why in spite of all these they should have gotten a nuclear weapon anyway -Lord |

Ukrainian strikes on Russian petroleum industry approved and aided by Trump administration were supposed to strengthen Ukraine's negotiating position. Russia absorbed the hits and intensified own strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Now Ukraine is in a weaker position. |
