Lol...so true. I remember one day I went out clubbing, while coming back around 4:30am, I saw so many people on the road. I asked my friend if they were all coming back from clubbing too (I'm not usually a clubber)...he laughed and said they were going to work

That is what they call economic capital all over the world. Or has the meaning changed? The joke is actually of place like Kano (with over 15 million population or even 20 m), Kaduna and the likes.

Bros, rather than wailing here and shouting fake stats, if you have the resources, or the means to access them go back home and establish a cinema in places like Enugu or Owerri. Don’t go to Onitsha or Aba. na mostly out-of-school people full those places. Though they’re doing very well in trading, they won’t really appreciate going to Cinemas when they can have fun in bars and local joints. However, you’ll have to be heavily involved in serious social media awareness and PR. I hope you saw how Funke Akindele and Toyin Aimakhu marketed their movies, like their entire existence depended on it. That’s why the Yoruba States dominate the stats, we support each other, especially when we are legitimately doing well (the right thing).

No offence, I'm from Ikare Akoko in Ondo State. I grow up to know Terere Cinemas in the 80s Baba Sale and, Jide Aromire used to bring their movies to the cinema around 80s, also Saija Cinema owned by a prominent Politician in the mid 90. I watched my first ever live Champions League live match in Saija in 1998.

I don't really understand, why is it that in every economy indexes, Edo state is always at the top? Seeing the state in forth position surpassing the likes of Delta and Enugu state makes me to wonder.

This shows why eastern states thrive in entrepreneurship....no time for paid entertainment.
