Buhari is a first class demon.
I lived in the core North in the 80's and 90's.
No Fulani herdsmen carried an AK-47 assault rifle.
What the Fulani herdsmen carried was their cane, cutlass and water bottle hanged on their shoulders.
Until when Buhari became President, Fulani herdsmen started carrying AK-47 like stick all around.
God will never forgive him. He should continue to rot in hell fire
"God will never forgive him" because you are the one controlling God.

The Igbos living in Sabongari Kano doesn't have guns up till late 1990s. That was when Hausas used to enter the place just because small disputes in the market will snowballed into riot and people got killed and their properties got stolen anyhow. But since the year 2000 when the Kano boys met a stiff resistance from Sabongari Igbos, till today, nobody mess them up again. This is the analogy that brought about the use of guns by the Fulani herdsmen to prevent rustling.
And if open grazing is not stopped, it will get worse because as technology advanced, insecurity advanced as well and people will try to protect themselves. This will be independent of whoever is the president.

Your point is baseless.
I told you I lived in core Northerner states for a very long time including my youth service.

Cattle rustling does not justify the Fulani herdsmen to carry assault rifle like AK 47 about.

Noted that cattle rustling is a crime mainly in the North.
There is no cattle rustling in the South.

So why do the Fulani herdsmen still carry AK 47 about in Southern Nigeria?
Your excuse is weak.
Buhari armed them with his evil agenda to kill anyone who stands on their way .
The Wicked Fulani herdsmen were almost untouchable during the satanic regime of Buhari.
They kill and get away with it.
They rape women in the farms and get away with it.
The killing index shows that the Fulani herdsmen killed more people than the bandit's and Boko Haram.
All their blood is on Buhari head.

Finally, these herders are taking personal security seriously. Why depend on the police when you can combine livestock management with light military hardware?
Honestly, walking cows without an AK-47 in 2026 is just irresponsible parenting.
I also appreciate the transparency no hiding it under agbada or car boot. Pure open governance.
Next step: cows wearing reflective jackets and the rifle getting a national ID card.
Progress is progress. Nigeria is moving forward, whether we’re ready or not. 🇳🇬✨

How is RUGA different from ranching?
Open grazing is more healthy because the cattle eat fresh live organic grass whilst getting plenty exercise year around. If ranching is adopted the cattle would get much less exercise would be more prone to catching diseases and infections so would be pumped full of antibiotics. As well as getting feed grown elsewhere during dry season.
The current open-grazing system is healthier and more cost-effective abeg!
THMT:
People advocated for Ranching and opposed so called Ruga.

You just called it ancient and right now, it's not sustainable.
Farmers and herders clashes, bandits and other clear disadvantages are enough to shove this way of life away.
It's an obsolete, outdated and do your research, it's not a healthy way of producing quality beef.

Cow milk production is more profitable and much more better with Ranching.

You desire Ruga or Open grazing on whose property?

Buy your hectres of land and fence it, any state of your choice is fine with me as long as you don't make anybody's farm or property you walkway.

I see Ranching as a more economical, small scale kind of way to attract new investors compared to buying hectres of land.

Milk and beef business would also improve and be well organized.
