How is this principle any different from mines?

A mine works by detonating when a person steps on it or a vehicle drives over it.

In this case the African could run lie on the road for a tank to drive over them and trigger the mine.

Fun fact: a vast majority of mines layed on battlefieldd remain undenonated. This is because when mines are layed. There's no guarantee that the enemy would pass where that mine was placed. So in order to ensure effective use of mines, many have to be placed to ensure at least some triggers. This is very wasteful.


This African suicide bomber method ensures efficient use of each mine. The African is simply seen as expandable by the Russians.

Modern anti tank mines don't even need pressure to detonate..I.e you don't need the tank to step on it.. Most advanced anti tank mine uses sensors and Magnetic Influence, some uses Seismic & Acoustic to listen for sounds and will detect and detonate when a tank is in close proximity

I understand what you are trying to put across. You are saying that since there is no required pressure to activate the mine, it won't explode on him. Isn't that it?
