Thank God I don't give a damn about a woman's family. I married her, not her mother or her family. They have collected their only and final entitlement during the traditional wedding.

I don't object to their daughter spending her money on them but she dare not make such proposal to me. The fact that they call me " stingy and irresponsible man" delights my soul. I am not financially responsible for them and I will never be.

Honestly, I don't know what to say to this.

On one hand, this is wrong, on the other, it's his money.

I know a family whose son in-law abandoned the house he was building for them when he and their daughter separated.
He already did it up to lintel level.
Now, they're completing the house.
