DR Congo President impregnates cabinet minister

Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) President Félix Tshisekedi faces mounting personal and political pressure following his affair with the 43 years old Foreign Minister Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner, who is now pregnant with his child.

If this is true then it perhaps explains why a small army of Rwanda-backed rebels have been defeating their DRC soldiers at battle front and taking over DRC land, they have a President who has other priorities.

Wagner is the daughter of a German Catholic priest who resigned and married her mother in Dr congo. I think she could have grown up getting used to scandals. That said, scandals of this nature are very common in the congos. Kabila snr had his fair share, just like kabila jnr. Laurent Kabila was always drunk and liked womanising. That much was said by Che Gueverra. Sassou Ngueso of Congo Brz also had his scandals. His daughter's alleged sex tape was once leaked and was watched on the internet. It's all romance and power play in the francophone power corridors.

Yes, he died long before before Kabila assumed power in the late nineties. But in the 60s during the Congo war, Fidel Castro despatched Guevara to help organize the rebels against the Belgian backed Congolese govt. Laurent Kabila was the head of the lumumbist rebels. Che observed he always appeared late to work and drunk. Che got frustrated and left.
