He was gunning for political office. Aligned with the President's son too.

What it has confirmed, however, based on social media commentary is, young people justify fraud. We are worse than the older generation we lampoon everyday online. Tacitly, we have deadened our conscience to non-violent crimes. We excuse away such.

The average Nigerian will defend a scammer who defrauded a significant amount of money (especially from foreigners) as "brain work". Worse even, Nigerians who are openly religious with religious texts on their bios on Facebook and X.

Our outrage is only performative, and we only rage on when it's people we aren't related to by ethno-familial links or friendly terms with.

I saw accounts which cuss out at Tinubu, Akpabio, and Wike back the guy for fraud, asking him to be let go. And even attacking anyone who calls him out.

Once it involves relatives or friends, Nigerians will defend scammers. And women who post about wanting God-fearing men will articulate defenses too while gaslighting the truthsayers as "crabs pulling down others".

We are worse than the generations before us, and the supposed leaders of tomorrow will wreck Nigeria.
Well, I think it's people who have relatives benefiting from fraud or they themselves benefiting directly from fraud that will defend it as "brain work" or "grace". There are also businesses that are literally being sustained by fraud money; most hoteliers and club owners make money only because yahoo boys are still able to defraud people locally and internationally which they spend at their business places. Same goes for all those Air B'n"B/ apartment managers; only few of their customers are legit business people.

Most people doing it actually know what they are doing is stealing , but they just always look for any excuse to defend the wrong choice they made willingly.

We need it when we are developed to manage it. Not everything wey fancy we are ripe to. We have to develop at our own pace.

Its like someone who is on Band D electricity whose transformer don blow and buying electric cybertruck because his neighbor is driving it

How many students took Jamb that had glitches that they had to rewrite. Is that the same system you want to handle elections for 30m voters?

Or country wey still dey address military coup 12months ago
Is Electronic transmission an improvement on our electoral system? That's my question. You don't even need too much explanations.

Taking advise from a mad man is not evil. You can say it's foolish but definitely not evil.

What's evil, is grabbing, snatching, and running away with people's destiny

It was slow and steady we lost our humanity over time in this country. Under Buhari Fulani herdsmen would unalive scores of people in different parts of the country and the government will be more concerned about how the news is reported. They would be busy fighting the media guys for mentioning the tribe of the criminals instead of actually putting in efforts to fight the crime.

Wit time they began arguing whether the perpetrators of these killings are Boko Haram, Fulani Herdsmen, Bandits, Unknown Gunmen, etc.

I think for reasons best known to them, the government over time has lacked will power to combat these crimes. Instead the spokespersons of respective governments would be focusing on non-issues hoping the news will die a natural death so their principals don't look incompetent and helpless.
Usually the government used propaganda agents on social media to distract people from the real issues. Some of these agents would start making posts like 'I am from South West or wherever and even if 1000 people die, I will still vote Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 election.'

What is more sad is that these people actually know what and why they are paid to do what they do.

Imagine an educated person like Raumdeuter making argument against electronic transmission and you wonder why Nigeria is where it is.

I saw some videos online, the "He is a 10 but.. " Most girls will not step away when they mention he is a 10 but a yahoo boy. Even if they do it in front of MFM church or Moslem sisters that cover their heads

We have gradually embraced that those who do the scamming are not criminals and they should get away with it

Emotions is all you base your arguments on, Do we have the infrastructure to run electronic transmission reliably?

Did you know there was a problem with JAMB examinations just last year? Do you know the amount of issues they see with CBT based exams? Now you think that is what you should run elections of 50m voters on?

You dont live in the real world that is why you end up being disappointed regularly

Its an improvement but we do not have the infrastructure for it. There are many things that will be an improvement that we just do not have the capacity for at this point. Especially for a very sensitive process like elections

DR Congo President impregnates cabinet minister

Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) President Félix Tshisekedi faces mounting personal and political pressure following his affair with the 43 years old Foreign Minister Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner, who is now pregnant with his child.

The situation has been creating tension in the presidential household, with First Lady Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi demanding that the minister step down from her position.

I watched a reel yesterday of one white guy saying he's surprised that Nigeria is talking about other things, rather than the death of 170 people.

Lately, it's starting to look disturbing.

Gunmen will just kill people. Governor go talk. Tinubu go send soldiers, and that's all.

I remember when the Ikeja Bomb blast happened. It was a Sunday. The next day, everywhere was moody. Tinubu spoke that night. The country's flag was lowered at half mast...Like..You would know that something bad happened to Nigeria.

How did this country get to this point. 160 people died, and we are talking about PDP led faction, and a lot of rubbish.!

Jehovah, have mercy.
Religion of peace with another banger undecided

What perplexes me is how can 170 civilians be slaughtered just like that in a country that's not at war. And everyone just carries on with their day

oga raumdeuter why don't inec do a test run to see if it can be done, everything in life is about progress if there is no progress then we are regressing. We can even start with primaries, by-election and even upcoming osun governorship election. Not having the infrastructure is not a legitimate excuse.

You are missing my point

This is not about the merits or demerits of oloshoism

This is about a much older and supposedly more experienced man being played like a fiddle by a small girl

We were discussing a guy a football star some weeks back who monique and everyone else had warned about messing with small girls

Now if I recall the girl slapped him with lawsuit and he had to pay

Why is osho massaging feet of olosho he has hl paid and paid handsomely? Is it not a transaction? Why is olosho with osho in a private jet he provided and still casually filming him?

A man of oshos age and power should be the one in control of the situation. Instead a small girl is messing him up.

There is no scarcity of willing and wayward imported light skin chicks of osho spec. Yet here he is being thoroughly embarrassed because he is messing with clout chasing OF thots.

This just says he is a sexually undisciplined and desperate man. Very easy for opposition to set up and mess up.
There's this song I listened to growing up that best describes Oshio Baba predicament

Lyrics goes thus

Na the thing I wan chop wey no make me get sense. Pe mi loruko ko fa mi ni irungbon

Some Boomers will always pedestalize the pum cos they're grateful at their age to still have access to it.

Funny thing is this: During Buhari's administration when people complain about these things, the same Tinubu supporters you are seeing today were the ones labelling people "wailing wailers". They would bring illogical viewpoints to defend Buhari's administration; one of such is when they claim that in 2014 some areas in the Northeast were under occupation by Boko Haram but when Buhari won the election security agencies reclaim those areas.

They call that a win and use it as evidence that Buhari was doing well as far as insecurity was concerned. When you show them evidence of thousands of lives that has been lost to Banditry, Fulani herdsmen and unknown gunmen under Buhari that allegedly "defeated Boko Haram technically", dem go begin turn tables like DJ Neptune.

It's unfortunate things have gotten worse that travelling on any major highway across the country now is a 50/50 chance of either getting kidnapped/ killed or getting to your destination safely. They've played politics with people's lives for too long that now everything just look beyond government's control.

The fan blows really well; it may not blow like those ox fans that make noise, but trust me it blows really well.

As regards how long it lasts, trust me it can serve u as much as 10 hours or more sef.

The way it works is this; once the solar panel is up on the roof(or anywhere it can access the sun directly), the inverter will charge and will get to full charge during the day. That solar inverter is what you connect to your fan to power it all through the night.

From my own user experience, If I put the fan on around 10pm it will work till around 8am next morning and it will just consume one bar out of the five bars indicating charge level on the inverter. It literally works all through the night and you still have enough power unutilized till the sun comes back up the next morning.

The truth is the fan is far better than any rechargeable fan I've seen being advertised online as far as performance and reliability is concerned.
This is such a detailed review and I am grateful for your exhaustive explanation. I cancelled the jumia order I placed for a Qasa fan yesterday, upon seeing your review. Thank you.

It has 3 options...faster <faster < fastest

We normally use the fast option which to me is okay and this would last all thru d night with just one bar out of four when fully charged.

The fastest option is too hard...

Note: I only got the table fan that have no other attachments...
Thank you for your kind response Chief. I contacted the company directly via their IG page and they sent the installer this evening to my Dad's place. I got the HomePlus Max + Pedestal Fan. Thanks again.
