Betis deny me 6meter yesterday, na cry I take go sleep. How can 5 shot be on target and 5 goals from the 5 shot on target. I suspect say them sell that match, cus how can betis not score in their own home, even if say na one. sad

First time in my life I watch athletico Madrid game against a small club, and baba didn't disappoint.

This was how I used to watch Napoli games because of Osimhen, until he went on Instagram live and insulted the National team and the head coach. Since that day any love I had for him just magically disappeared.

I just hope Ademola maintains this his humility and professionalism. I don turn athletico Madrid fan like this o. Nothing concern me with Barcelona again. Atleti, Atleti, Ale, Ale!
A club that played a continental cup final with Chelsea last season is not a small club..oo.
Even this season too, they are still playing in the continent.

When did you start watching footie than you call Real Betis a small club? Smaller than Athletico, based on current fortunes, but they are in no way a small club

There are only three big teams in Spain, real Madrid, Barcelona and Athletico Madrid. If you are feeling generous you can add Sevilla because of their Europa league record.
Valencia, Villarreal, Bilbao and even Real sociedad are all bigger than real betis and those ones are still small teams when we are talking about Elite footballing teams. In fact I even rate the likes of Aston Villa, Everton, and Newcastle ahead of Real betis.

If not for dwindling fortune, add Valencia to it too. Former Europa winner, la liga winner and two time ucl finalist

Your preferences does not count. Where was the likes of Everton when sevilla had a stranglehold on the europa Cup?

4 leagues are called the big 4 for a reason and any club that palys consistently in their leagues is in no way a small club.
Re: Ademola Lookman Marks Atletico Debut With Goal & Assist by Razzness(m): 2:07pm On Feb 06
I never said Everton is bigger than Sevilla; I said Real Betis. I can comfortably list 30-35 clubs bigger than Real Betis across Europe. I don't know what the argument is. Real Betis is not a big team in Europe by all accounts. Period. and any sane football fan understands what I am talking about except you just like arguments.

You moved to Europe to deride Spanish clubs and I called you out with sevilla and now you are upset.

Real betis is not a small club in Spain in any way and that's a fact.

By what yardstick are such clubs small clubs? You give me the vibe of someone that hasn't watched football for long, cos I'm pretty sure you cant even remember when a team like Deportivo was a force in Europe.

You seem to be having an issue with the English language. "Big" and "bigger". In that instance, what you say holds true; they can't compare, madrid et al are bigger. But saying they are wrong may be your "feeling", but it doesn't hold true on any level. By what measure are they small? Revenue? Stadium capacity? Ex-players? Current players? Annual budget?

Anyway, let me just drop this here for you.

This is the IFFHS rankings:
"Athletic Bilbao (Top 30): Listed among the top Spanish teams, appearing in the top 30 of the IFFHS World Club Ranking in 2024 and 2025.

Real Betis & Real Sociedad: These clubs also feature in the upper rankings of Spanish clubs in the IFFHS lists.

Key IFFHS 2024/2025 Data:
As of May 2025, 4 Spanish clubs were in the top 20 of the IFFHS World Club Ranking."

But my man here says there are only 3 big clubs in Spain?

Lets go further. Look at trophies won by clubs other than Madrid, Barcelona and Athletico.

Shocker, Bilbao has won more than your Athletico eh?

A "tiny" club like Zaragoza has won 9 major honours, while teams like Madrid and Barça existed.

Interesting much?

Re: Ademola Lookman Marks Atletico Debut With Goal & Assist by Razzness(m): 5:42pm On Feb 07
You really try. All this to prove Real betis is a big team. In the history of football 'fanhood' never have I ever heard anyone call real betis a big team, you're the very first.

One thing I would tell you is that 'big' is a relative term, even Enugu rangers and Kano pillars are big teams.

In fact going by your assessment, every single top-flight team is a big team because they are all big in their own ways.

If not that you like argument very well, you will understand that when I say Real betis is a small team, it is relative to who they are in Spain. At best you can say they are decent side or an average side in Spain but never one of the 'big team's. Never! In fact some people people are even reluctant to label the Valencia's and the Villarreal's as big teams talk more of betis, who are just even starting to find their feet in Laliga, few years ago. A team that has been relegated nothing less than 10 times is the team is the team you want me to call a big team in Spain "Tufiakwa"
