SIR,When Would You Find Solutions to the IKORODU - AGBOWA- ITOKIN ROAD 🛣️,
•- that has become a Death Trap 🪤 on Daily Basis,for it's over 40- yrs this Road was Constructed 🚧 🏗️ by Awolowo then,but due to Large Population Increases,it has become inadequate.
•This Road NEEDS Expansion - through CONCRETE Not Asphalt!
•There are Millions of People living on this Axis.
Sadly 😢,one Contactor had been there for over 2- yrs +,but without a way out!
Please,do something Urgently and Safe the People .

Your second picture is inaccurate. The current construction going on covers the Shagamu interchange to iperu junction. I don’t think the award for the stretch from there to Benin has been awarded yet and if it has, construction hasn’t started or reached the area in your second picture. The Benin- shagamu section of your second picture is still terrible.


The second picture you posted is the interchange that connects the new Epe Ijebu road to shagamu Benin express and it was constructed by the Ogun state govt like 4 yrs ago. There is no federal road reconstruction going on at that end YET.

I have been on the stretch from shagamu interchange on the expressway all the way to the interchange that connects to the Ijebu-Epe expressway in the last week so this is 1st hand reporting.

That said, work is clearly ongoing and the difference between the reconstructed parts and the old sections is night and day! I also here they will be installing solar lights just like the calabar coastal rd.

As a matter of facts, road construction is not to be celebrated, because other past Presidents did same we have enough to deal on the economy of Nigeria , which we are yet to see...
When we have something to celebrate in this our Government, I will beckon on all to join us....for now, we are yet to be anywhere....

Truth be told, while it is exciting to see the new roads being constructed, I keep scratching my head at the thought process behind the design of the coastal road. Makes no sense to me. I anticipate a lot of accidents on Lagos-Cal due to poor hard shoulder design.

Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70.

On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price.

But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”.

It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel.

in as much as you are right they will disagree with you. they don't see these things as their right but privilege.

our politicians had so much brainwash our people to see these things as dividend of democracy rather than right. only in Nigeria does democracy come with dividend.

The left circle is the shagamu interchange and where construction started from proceeding towards Ore eventually, while the right circle is what he erroneously posted as the Shagamu interchange. That is the Epe/Ijebu express interchange where you turn off to go to Epe or where you land if coming from The new Epe road and construction of the concrete road has not advanced to that spot.

They have been constructing this road before I was born from Lagos to Benin now I am 60 years.....na wah o.

That picture there abeg, even though I don't like Buhari that doesn't mean we should now crown his effort to Tinubu, that road in the picture is ijebu ode - epe road and was remodel to this standard during Buhari's tenure, some portion of it that linked ijebu ode to the bridge has been abandoned till now, so stop spreading rubbish all the name of trying to glory one man who doesn't even recognize you.
