I remember when Bitcoin was $9k. I never believed it will rise to today's levels. I dismissed it as dead and buried.

To say Bitcoin will be gone is as good as saying the entire Crypto market will also cease to exist. Most of them perform by affiliating with Bitcoin.

The fall has nothing to do with epstein but the sudden shift by investors into the AI space last week. AI shares soared fueling fears the crypto verse would be affected

The price of Bitcoin is not down because of the Epstein files, rather it is down partly because Trump nominated a hawkish Fed president to replace Jerome powell. This coupled with frothy valuations of AI companies, high unemployment numbers and fears of a sudden "risk-off" global sentiment. Bitcoin and other high beta stocks are feeling the brunt of it as more investors are fleeing to safety by buying Gold and the U.S dollar.

Bitcoin is a very volatile asset, it has always been and I keep saying it that it will be for many more decades. In the grand scheme of things, it is still a new asset class despite major institutional adoptions, it's history pales in comparison to the stock market for example.

My only advice to anyone reading this comment is to ignore the noise and buy buy buy. Set up a recurring buy order and buy at frequencies you are comfortable with. You can buy $5 every week or every month. Just keep buying but don't try to time the market. Regardless of all the manipulations and distractions, Bitcoin is heading to the moon. You simply have to buy and hold and enjoy the ride.

Bitcoin was always a scam. It has no Intrinsic value except as a purely speculative asset.

They want to promote it so that they can sell their assets
They already know it dying so the only way to sell their Bitcoin assets is to make people believe it will rise again so be wise especially newbies

in terms of real value.. bitcoin actually have value than any paper currency on earth.. mainly because a paper currency if not tied to a commodity is just a government fiat..a promise note bond ..the dollar was tied to the value of gold in the early part of the early 21st century before it was changed into a fiat.

Bitcoin on the other hand is generated by computing power and alot of electrical energy in the process..those are physical value not a fiat and bitcoin has an ending point a fiat paper money doesn't have an ending point.

Not a supporter of it's astronomical rise tho...just like this current AI noise and valuations it will surely come back to it's real value at a point.

There was a time it fall from 70k usd to around 20k usd I think that is after covid 19 lock down

Bitcoin isn't dead.

The world is scared of Trump's policies which are inflationary, and these have got the wealthy and institutions spooked.

They want to hedge their money against inflation, and they pour all their money into gold. It is the best hedge against inflation.

In December 2024, the price of gold was $2,500 per ounce. It is now $4,960.

Money that should have been flowing into Bitcoin is now going into gold.
