Bandits and islamic terrorists are operating freely under MUMU ticket.
They were operating freely under Christian Muslim and Muslim Christians in the past

Maybe them operating has nothing to do with the religion of the president and Vice

BlueRayDick are you seeing this comment? Internet might not work where the bulk of votes come from but that's the exact thing we should use
It's like u are confusing my post with someone else's. Did u see anywhere I suggested using any local ISP?

I literally mentioned Starlink that works everywhere in Nigeria for the purpose of electronic transmission.

This is not 1999 but 2026. There's nowhere there's no internet in Nigeria. Even Boko Haram and ISWAP have access to internet in places farther than Sambisa forest.

Your excuse of poor internet connectivity holds no water in 2026. Let INEC spend the money they've budgeted judiciously and let's see if things would turn out better.

It's unfortunate that u will argue for continuity of the shiiit show we saw that happened in Rivers state during the last election. That u don't see big deal in glaring alteration of election result sheets says a whole lot about Ur values.

It is well.

10yrs after Sanusi left as CBN governor, only 12 states have more than 100 branches. So 24 states have less than 100 branches. These bank branches and ATM are also disproportionately located in the capital city what then happens to the other places not served by ATM? Are you surprised that many people in rural areas still dont have access to these internet and network dependent facilities
sanusi did not mandate that banks have multiple branches. he mandated that banks have multiple ATMS

for this reason, several banks partnered with us and other fuel networks to deploy atms in our premises.
they deployed ATM, built a reinforced strongroom structure, bought inverter, ac, had arrangements with cash vendors , paid for security . it was not cheap

they did this because there was political will to make them do it

this is the purpose of govt - to push for policy that will improve lives of citizens

if local/state/federal govt pushes ISP to make full coverage nationwide available they will do it.

This is Sodik comment on the reliability of internet in rural areas

iamoyindamola:
Exactly
That's why Internet might not work because those places with no service are the places of interest polithieficians steal votes and win the election.
If they really want to make this thing work they can do it
Elections happen in these places and numbers come from there

The Mumu ticket promised to end their operations but the terrorists are rather expanding to new territories.

Will you think pushing coverage nationwide should be the priority of govt currently? Something that does not affect peoples day to day life. A govt that hasn't provided security roads healthcare education that happen everyday but its ISP for elections that we conduct every 4yrs is the main thing

Internet failure happens everywhere that's why i said intranet to upload the data locally and then upload to cloud with Internet.
But the evil party refuses to even consider any other ideas because of their selfish interests

The correlation is that he is saying contrary to your opinion, internet is not reliable in most rural areas unlike what you claimed that its reliable all over Nigeria

raumdeuter:
A sitting Governor who does not have a single good road in his state, where no hospital work, no drinking water, no transformer for electricity, that is where he will embark on fiber for ISP.

Lets say the governor of Kwara with the current challenges bring forward a budget to lay fiber all over Kwara state. What will you say about priorities

If I see such projects in Oyo state, I will curse out whichever governor thought of it in a country where treatment for snake venom does not exist
so you admit the real problem is political will on the part of the governors who are more concerned with building airports than making internet available statewide? the irony is that doing that may actually boost the economy. if i work from home and i have good internet in the village, i can simply choose to work from there

Lets say the governor of Kwara with the current challenges bring forward a budget to lay fiber all over Kwara state. What will you say about priorities
as a man in corporate, i am sure you know that budgets are typically signed off at the end of teh year, not in the middle of it.

Did the Christian Muslim ticket not promise to end insecurity yet they expanded
Did the Muslim Christian ticket not promise to end insecurity yet it expanded

There are many Christian Christian tickets in several states that are more insecure than they used to be

Point is what has the religion of the president and Vice got to do with insecurity against all Nigerians of all faith. Whether Christian or Moslems

There is enough mismanagement already while ignoring the issues that affect day to day Nigerians so you want more of it

Okay you will go and work in a village without electricity, without good roads, without any hospital in a 3hrs radius, without water just the internet will provide all you need to live and work

we dont have road so why should we spend on hospital

we may as well do nothing. that is much easier.

We spend money on the essentials that your populace use daily like roads electricity, water supply education

Not things the populace only use once in 4yrs like ISP or airports

Some states like Lagos might need airport and ISP but that's a misplaced priority for Ekiti Ebonyi Gombe and 80% of states in Nigeria

Just like a family working on limited budget will prioritize staple food they eat daily and not on birthday cake

Religion of rhe candidate is not why they are performing or not performing

We have tried every religion and they have all failed. The insecurity in Anambra was under what religion as governor and deputy?

The key thing with insecurity is that we are under policed and the few available are not armed, not paid enough nor motivated enough

The bandits can be livestreaming their actions, the victims can be calling all security agencies but no help will come for 48hrs

If you do not have roads, education Healthcare security in 2026, I think internet and ISP should be the least of your problems. Someone will also say calling airport a luxury is disappointing

A girl died of snakebite just last week which someone said has not killed anyone in UK in the last 50yrs we livestreamed her pains and dying moments but no amount of internet could save her. That's another airport in Ekiti situation

After the awareness then what happens? Where are the security agencies that will physically go and engage them? And the ammunition they will use

We are aware that people are being killed. The killers even post on TikTok and they haven't been stopped

telephone is not for the poor

that is what you are saying in a nutshell

you are in the 21st century - equating communications with luxury for the wealthy

Telephone was eventually handled by private sector not govt. Private sector can handle ISP while govt handle govt its basic job first.

your average nigerian security agent will always dodge responsibility and make up a story .

broadcasting a security situation prevents them from doing this and forces them to act. because there is no more deniability

it is the same reason that boko haram livestream - to counter any denials by the government

Governance is not about emotions. Its about being real with the reality on ground. We have had internet in Nigeria for over 30yrs but not about to reliably service the rural areas but its now under 12months to election that it can be provided

You think its just tomatoes that can be bought in the market and live we go

Again its not an emotional endeavor, it takes planning
All you are giving are excuses why things can't work.

If the Americans whose society you are benefiting from did same, you won't be there today
