Richdee1:A car engine especially Toyotas can only be: I4(4 plugs for Corolla, Yaris & other sedan), V6(Some camry, Venza and SUVs), V8(Tundra, Sequina etc). You should learn small about cars and also know the car you want to drive well. I added a screenshot of little things you need to know from chatgpt. Just find out if the Camry is 4 plugs, when you start you will learn & catch up as you keep driving

TeamLeader:If na uber you wan do, i sincerely don't know why some of you bury over 4m in this uber business, a business that depreciates ur car even further... Get a car you'll quickly realize ur capital back and wey engine and gear cheap to replace.... Unless it's for private use, pls face another car. That car engine na 1.2m, gear 1.1m.....let's be wise in our endeavours, God bless. Go find eod for 3.5m wey sharp if na uber you wan use am do, if you're stubborn go carry ur corolla, good luck buddy.... Even if no be uber sef, still avoid am, unless ure well to do, In that case try get toks |

Do you consider the second hand value Toyota products have over Honda?. And you're always talking about price of Engine and gear. Honestly, how many years I don dey use motor now, I've not experienced anything of such. No be every car go develop that issue. You can't because of that no go for quality. We all know, any day, any time, Toyota remain the best. I've use Honda Baby boy before, I vowed never to near Honda except for high end ones. Na EOD you dey market like say na better car, you even get mind to dey use EOD for Uber. Kumuyiii: |

Gentlelife50:I It's not Bala buleu. It's the ROI due to the poor fares of the app companies. . Keke Marwa, Danfo are being bought in hundreds n given out by investors... How can Keke be remitting the same rental with an Uber vehicle... Any wise investor can't inject vehicles at the fares the app companies are setting n expect to make a profit. It doesn't add up. And if you do strong head as an investor. Uber/Bolt would have taken 25-30% off the labour of the car and leave you, the investor to lick your wounds.. Wisdom is profitable to direct. |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by sandammy(m): 11:58am On Feb 07 |
cyif2003:No they won't accept it. Do your inspection and collect the RWC and upload for bolt. Why are you eager to cut corner when you could have use same energy to do the right thing |

Vela01:Lol i dey market am becus it favors the pocket... Who no like better tin? Left for me na rx 350 2014 I go use do the work.. Yes na... But we live in reality... Say ur toyota no worry no mean say na so ebe for others... My own sent me to the mechanic every week, my eod dey give me joy.... Unless it's toks, it's a dicey business, person wey buy my muscle, God help him, cuz na repair i repair the gear, water enter gear.... You don't plan for shit to happen but shit happens, i loved the car, but unless I'm rich, i won't commit to a car wey the parts fit bankrupt me..... It's like buying a benz.... And yes I'm marketing eod and not even 2010 accord, becus dat one part to cost... EVERY CAR GO DEVELOP ISSUE. That's the best mind to buy a car with, so prepare for rainy days. Car is a machine, ego mess up when e wan mess up..... Everybody get bad experience for every car, so leave ur baby boy matta... eget people wey go swear say their range rover no dey worry dem, some go wan swear say na devil motor. Ultimately, have money to repair if anything sup, and if it's uber, i maintain, DON'T BURY TOO MUCH MONEY BUYIN AN EXPENSIVE CAR, BUT RELATIVELY CHEAP, WHEN URE READY TO MOVE ON YOU SELL CHEAP AND BE HAPPY. MY eod paid for itself 3 months after I bought it, wetin i dey chop now na profit salaa, if na 3m i see wen i wan sell am, i pocket am face front. I'm sure ure familiar with the statement, to buy motor no be koko, you get maintenence moneyyyyy? |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Gentlelife50(m): 3:44pm On Feb 07 |
northbird:I am talking about the prices of cars, I don't know what Keke delivers. 4 years ago people still had cars and were looking for drivers but now it's the other way round. The fares you're complaining about when corrola was sold at 2 million people complained how much more now that the 2 million can't even clear a corolla from wharf? If you like be defending bad leaders, everything boils down to bad leaders! |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Gentlelife50(m): 3:52pm On Feb 07 |
cyif2003:Haaaa, so u no follow for people wey dey make millions? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by cyif2003(m): 3:55pm On Feb 07 |
I no follow ohh. Indrive fairs are so damn annoying now. Gentlelife50: |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by northbird: 3:59pm On Feb 07 |
8 Gentlelife50:No one is defending any leader..I'm saying the fares are not matching up.. Fares on Ehailing has been static.. Patching of tyres is 1500.. 2023. I bought tyre 195R15. 9,000. Right now it's 18-19k. Spare parts of cars is on the increase. So, investors are not seeing that ROI. How can you invest 5 million naira and you are struggling to even make a profit of 1 million as an investor in a year. Is that business?.. That's why most investors who are interested in transportation have left the Uber /Bolt sphere.. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Vela01: 4:09pm On Feb 07 |
I agree with your points, but Struggling to make 1m a year? nah! Don't exaggerate, how will you struggle to make a profit of 1m driving for a year. Haba! Ibadan drivers sef not fit talk that one, let alone abj and Lagos. northbird: |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Gentlelife50(m): 4:24pm On Feb 07 |
northbird:So who do w3 blame? Tha app companies alone abi? Abi u think say if car is still around 2 million people won't be buying cars and investing even with the poor fares? Bad leadership is the main problem here |
