Mr Obi is the least impressive of the potential major presidential candidates.

He rarely says anything on the economy that comes from original thinking.

He said we should copy Argentina. We should copy Indonesia. We should copy this and that.

Now that Mr Tinubu has applied his own original policies and steadied the economy to global acclaim, Mr Obi has gone quiet on his Argentina advice.

President Bola Tinubu and his supporters are advancing Nigeria anchored on demonstrable achievements, while others persist in the dissemination of falsehoods.
The opposition would be better served by consolidating their resources into productive ventures—perhaps even a catfish farming enterprise that delivers tangible value to Nigerians.
In their present state, they fall far short of qualifying as a credible opposition ahead of 2027; seldom has such political inadequacy been so starkly evident in democratic history

You country's currency does not have value, with its low purchasing power, low strength in respect to the dollar, being affected by worsening inflation and economic mismanagement by the slowpoke in power. It is the Argentinian Pesos that is your obsession.

Peter Obi lives rent free in una medulla oblongata

Obi didn’t say copy Argentina’s inflation.

If the peso collapsing is your only evidence, then you’ve accidentally proven why his advice was sound because your Tinubu's economy is mimicking Argentina, not fixing it.

Trunp gave them 40 billion dollars for free just a few months ago.

A straw man fallacy occurs when someone distorts or exaggerates another person's argument, and then attacks the distorted version of the argument instead of refuting the original point.

Who is in power?
Who has more control of our currency?
Who promised to make the currency normal?
What a weakling!

My mum has a common saying she always say, "it is the good ones we should imitate, not the condemned ones". This post is another trash from failure sympathisers, OP didn't see other countries to compare with, but Argentina 🤣

People using failure for excuses, so because another countries currency is doing bad, ours should also follow too, what of those who's currency is doing fine, can't ours emulate it ?

Tinubu really do this country strong thing. Nothing you fit tell me. Na him bring Buhari into power just to pave way for himself even when it was obvious, Buhari had nothing to offer.

If he is the least impressive, why do you talk about him? I mean if someone is not a challenge why do I need to waste my energy talking about him? Reason am first, if I am talking about that person everyday then that person must really be my biggest headache.

Interesting! Don't just give us figures. Break down the policy reformss that Argentina implemented that went awry. This is common sense which, unfortunately, is not common in this part of the world.

Besides, it could be the same thing Tinubu did that Argentina is doing - go through periodic economic pain and attain stable economy in the future.

Stabilized the economy? What economy please?
Real stability is what citizens can feel through a stronger Naira and better purchasing power.

Leadership should be judged by tangible improvements in living standards, not promises. Increasing taxes while social amenities remain poor, and relying on subsidy removal that has brought years of hardship and inflation, makes it hard to ignore the everyday reality many Nigerians face.
