Very good game by the team Declan rice is man of the match for me. This Eze move reminds me of his time at Palace. I hope he can do this more often.

With their 3-0 win against Sunderland, Arsenal are now unbeaten in their last 44 at home against promoted sides (W39 D5), the longest run in Premier League history, overtaking Chelsea (43 between 2001 and 2015). - The Athletic

That last run by Martinello, how i wish he had crossed the ball to Gyokeres instead of shooting. A hat trick for Gyokeres would have sent me over the moon. Anyway, nothing spoil. A 4.5 star display today. Yea, 4.5 because the way Sunderland played us before the second goal eh. Rice is Rice! A work horse. Midfield generalissimo. Comparing him to that shin kicker is a big blasphemy. Saliba had a game he wouldn't forget easily today. I thought Lukaku was bullish but Bobby abi na Brobby na proper 'bullish' striker. I wonder why he didn't play rugby instead. Excellent pre assist from Norgaard. All in all, so happy with clean sheet. Now Liverpool can do whatever they wish tomorrow. |

DaveP go enjoy today's match. Almost 5 outside the box shots (Trossard 2, Rice 1, Havertz and Zubi) He has been preaching it here since God know. |

E get one when e dribble inside the box…but if you see the cross afterwards! I just stand up from where I dey siddon, walk around make pesin pikin no make me vex God. |

This is the type of performance Gyokeres was brought in for. 2 touches in opposition box 2 shots 2 on target 2 goals. Clinicality!!. Havertz and Gyokeres partnership is what we expected Odegaard and Gyokeres to be. What a game today. Against Leeds, at some point Rice dropped to no.6 while Zubi went up, I thought it was just a one time thing, but today it repeated again. That's a masterclass from both Arteta and Rice. Rice is a real captain material, the shot Eze had, he was the one that pointed to the space for Eze to attack before he passed the ball to the space, seeing him shout at other players to keep up is something a captian does. No armband but it is clear who is the boss. Martinelli giving me joy again. Next stop Brentford, regardless of tomorrow's outcome in Anfield we should only focus on Thursday. I know City would struggle in their next two matches, the result remains to be seen of what it would be. |

Shegzdave:I hate that everytime GJ has a 1v1 for a while, i instantly give him 2% of burying it and so far he's not disappointed in that regard. Guy wanted to Akorize just like Kai did vs Chelsea. Lol. I hope he improves his game near the box. No be midfield we need his best performance abeg. |

We did this without Saka and Odegaard on the pitch. Omo. I wanted Trossard out after 70th min cos man was struggling. Why didn't Arteta act fast as he saw him limping? I hope it's not that serious sha. Guy and Cala understanding no be here. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by germaphobe(m): 8:26pm On Feb 07 |
mostob:Martinelli don dey do this thing for like 3 or 4 times now. Don't be surprised to see him make it his celebration. His bromance with Gyokeres allowed him to be selfless and pass the ball instead of trying to shot. I think against leeds or was it after Chelsea first leg, there was a video of him leaning and resting of Gyokeres after the match while the later patted his back. |

I've accepted Madueke is another Sterling. Just the quota system that exists between Arsenal and Chelsea. |

germaphobe:🤣🤣🤣 He said in the interview that he had to apologize to Gyokeres for stealing his goal and that since he has paid him back with 2 goals, Gyokeres should return one. It's Trossard that's leaning on Gyokeres. |

This is what I was saying that day , the whole wailing about Arsenal’s set piece goals was just a useless agenda that is premised on emotions and not facts . They claim Arsenal depends on set piece goals and gullible people who don’t check facts will just swallow it to follow them run the agenda . They won’t tell u that Arsenal has scored over 80 goals this season and that number of set piece goals scored was less than 20 sef . They won’t tell u how their own team scores almost number set piece goals as Arsenal .

I thought I was the only one that was alarmed at how openly biased the commentator was in his commentary yesterday . At some point he even mentioned the possibility of Sunderland coming back from 2 goals down against us . https://x.com/mc_lively_/status/2020229437242089839?s=46 |

When Arteta starts breeding coaches, I have a sneaky feeling Xhaka might be the first.

This guy really worry Saliba yesterday . I will continually be grateful that we have gone past the days of Mustafi , Sokratis, David Luiz, Chambers and co playing CB . We would’ve easily conceded with any of those guys playing against Brobby yesterday
