Don't put anything in your ears except an ENT specialist instruct you to do so. It is better to leave your ears like that if you don't have money.

I'm telling you this from experience and as a deaf person, I know how this things work and trust me, I will be welcoming you to the deaf world soon if you go against my advice.

Quick recovery sir

Dot mid him, Is he a Doctor?

The Ear takes quiet a while to heal itself.

cover it with cotton wool or ear muffs to make it heal faster.
go and see a ear doctor.
Bring up my response to OP to any medical practitioner and let them do the judgement, yes, I am not a medical practitioner but I did advanced medical course as such I know what I am talking about. You can browse about the organ of corti in the cochlear if you are not lazy to learn

What's the difference between a pharmacy and chemist pls?
Some chemist are not licensed, they are just doing it because of how bad Nigeria system is..

Pharmacy are licenced are being regulated often, in a street, you can't see 2 Pharmacy there, because of how regulated they are...

Have you every seen where they locked a Pharmacy shop before because of fake drugs? This only happen to chemist

What you should get is hydrogen peroxide 3% for home use.

Pour little inside your ear hold the place up for close to 10 minutes. Do that morning and night.

It will kill the bacteria in there and fight off any infection and debris blockage.

Hydrogen peroxide cost about 1k 5 now.

Irreversible?
Please don't get me more worried 😭
Oga calm down. It'll most likely go off on its own. But avoid prolonged use of earphones for now just avoid it and let your ears to recover

I use it for 3yrs and I stop, there is stress in using it. A good ETN specialist may recommend one for you after examination. Best of luck.
I see. Is it expensive?

I hope when it initially happened you didn't poke the ear. I get the initial stuff you mentioned from time to time as someone into music and wants to ear the sounds better for quality mixes and it goes itself over time.

Hmmm!
That is main organ of hearing responsible for sound acquisition.... prolonged exposure to same frequency sound over time, desensitize the inner hair cells.
The guy never complained of a trauma or infection to the ear, that rules out conduction problems or tympanic membrane rupture

Sorry, how did you get deaf?

@Op
I once experienced something similar.
I highly suspect that there was damp condition in your ear canal as a result of long use of your ear piece and it resulted to fungus infection hence the uncomfortable feelings in your ear(s) right now. You could treat with antifungal cream, antibiotics and pain relief tablets. However, I strongly advise you see an Ear, Neck and Throat (ENT) specialist in a hospital for proper evaluation. I wish you a quick recovery🙏

It's a long story, to cut it short, I became deaf after treatment for stomach pain.
Please visit a specialist now and stop complaining online. If your problem is money, create a thread and request for help, there are caring individuals who may help you. Avoid self medication at all cost, a simple mistake will make you regret for life. I'm a victim of such circumstances so I'm talking from experience. You can check my topics and see what I'm facing right now.

We need more awareness about the danger of prolonged use of earphones 🎧...

sorry op, your case should trigger the needed awareness.
Your inner hair cells has probably been desensitized by prolonged exposure to sounds. . You are likely to suffer from noise-induce hearing loss which is often irreversible. Go and visit an ENT specialist at any teaching hospital for proper diagnosis and management plans. Thank you
I agree that prolonged exposure to loud sounds through earphones can affect hearing. However, based on the OP's symptoms, the hearing loss may also have been related to an infection, inflammation, or blockage. That's why seeing an ENT specialist[https://drganent.com/] was the right advice, as a proper examination is needed to identify the cause. Hopefully, the OP received treatment and recovered.
