Mine was august 7th, 2025. The info at my hand was that the GIG supposed courier 🚚 is no longer in contract with them , and the new one is DHL.

Cos I went to gig hub to know if they were the one delaying the delivery cos I needed my document for something else.

I think it's a new strategy they've deployed to frustrate and discourage visa applications to travel to Ireland. They claim it's the volume of applications they receive and verification of documents I suspect that's a lie because they definitely don't receive more visa applications than the United Kingdom. The UK can never delay applications like this. The visa decision list they release every Mondays lists only about 60 to 70 applicants per week.

Yes
Just write a letter to them and request your passport..Let them know the reason and when you will return it

Good day everyone, please ooo, I have sending messages to Irish embassy Abuja since last week Friday for my passport withdrawal, they are not responding and I need it for another visa application. Anyone knows how I can quickly get my passport from them or reach out to the asap apart from through email..I am just tired because they are not replying to my messages.
