One organ that often goes neglected in our bodies is the brain. I sincerely hope that none of you reading this have to face the struggles of brain health issues. RIP ADENIJI |

No information on what caused the brain injury. How can others even know what to avoid? Or... Was it malicious? Negligence? Was he attacked? Was he sick? Did he fall? What happened to Ola ![]() |

RandomFellow:He had a sudden bleed on the brain. No report of trauma.. suspect a congenital blood vessel malformation that burst |

PDPdestroyer: ribbit: ZaddyJ:You guys should be asking your government questions as to why it can't provide good healthcare. Yes, not every medical death in Nigeria is because of negligence or bad government or lack of facilities. Bleeding on the brain can cause issues that may make it too late for survival But remember thousands of Nigerian children die annually from malaria, thousands of mothers suffer from obstetric complications and we don't even have enough doctors, talk less specialists, talk less neurosurgeons |

stasius:He had a bleed in the brain stem region. That controls someone's breathing and heart rate. At best, he would have been placed on a ventilator for the rest of his life, but as regards bodily funciton he was 'brain dead'. A lot of protocol had to be followed before he was taken off the machine. Nothing like this country or that country failed him. Brain stem , anything affecting brain stem na wahala. Severe whahala |

Jagaban2012:Yes we know, meanwhile have you asked your government why it is not spending 7% or more of our GDP on healthcare? |

I can smell a foul play in his death. I don't trust oyibo any bit. RIP gallant man! |
| Re: UK-Based Nigerian Footballer, Saburi Adeniji Dies After Brain Injury by nairalanda1(m): 9:22pm On Feb 08 |
Heffalump:So why would just one Nigerian playing in the very lower reaches of the English game who has a very low chance of making the big time be targeted by oyinbo? The club he is playing for plays in the 9th tier of the English game. He was supplementing his income by working as a carer. Players in the lower part of the English soccer pyramid rarely if ever make the big time. Only in very rare circumstances (eg Ian wright) do they do |
