I no know what Yoruba bought from their stall

Same way their supreme leader puts all his problem in life on Yorubas

Watch the IPOB defenders ignore this like they did when Nnamdi Kanu was always insulting Yorubas or ordering the destruction of Lagos
it's crazy.

Before Oct 7,Jews were afraid of doing anything in Judea and Samaria because of int'l condemnation, after then they started taking aggressive policies to reclaim their lands.

Right now , they're afraid to start third temple plans because of so called Abraham accord , after gog and Magog, that will be no more.

Jesus is coming,am yisrael chai.

Chief, do you guys truely believe electronic transmission of results would make any difference? Nigerians are masters at gaming the system, billions was wasted last election, last just go back to option A4 & use the money for other stuff rather than a process that would be compromised even by the gate keepers, especially when there's no consequence.

If PDP in 16yrs failed to implement an election system that is foolproof because current system favoured, they can't complain APC doing the same, these guys are all the same.

Lol.

How many people have lost their lives since 1999 because of elections?

Akpabio has told you it is 9 states that are affected....

One year to plan for 9 states, and you are explaining since last week.

Ehn, Olorogun?

Budget of a department in one state in America is bigger than the whole Nigerian budget

America dont struggle with basics and infrastructure like roads and electricity. They cant be and their concern will be state govt spending on ISP

If your state govt says his priority is now ISP what will you tell him
Great investment as long as it stops APC from rigging elections.

That's how terrible APC is

I am here.

I am not against any form of civil disobedience. It's the legal right of any individual. I am not against people choosing to sit at home as a protest to pass a message to government.

What I am against is the illegal enforcement by miscreants. The unscrupulous people enforcing the sit at home are agents of Ekpa and the government who enjoy the security votes from FG.

MNK has always been opposed to such enforcement and denied Ekpa several times.

He coming out now again, as this is not the first time, to denounce the enforcement is a reminder to people like you whose brains no longer work according to Bwala, that he is not responsible for the sit at home.

I really haven't said anything about party here. Maybe we are talking about two different things. The people who rejected the motion are Senators; PDP inclusive.

My point is that we haven't even counted the cost before we cancelled it. Why can't it work? Because Nigerians are gaming the system. But Nigerians are gaming the system, right?

Akpabio has said that 9 states are affected. 27 Senatorial districts are affected out of more than 108, yet it's a bad idea.

Meanwhile, we have a whole 11 months to figure out a way for this 27 zones, but no, let's scrap it.

I really don't know what Nigerians against this thing wants. Our senators are fighting for their rigging quota, and a common person like me dey support am.

We all know what we are doing. In 2015 as GEJ saw the writing on the wall, the elections were delayed due to insecurity. This actually was a very very big deal for APC who had run out of money.

It is understandable a house of assembly that is dominated by the ruling party (APC in this case) would not enact a law that will improve the electoral process considering how the ruling party has failed on most fronts of governance in this country for the past 11 years. We all know if they enact a law that would improve the electoral process and make our elections more credible, it will lead to a case of they are signing their own exit from power. That is why someone like Akpabio will come up with all sorts of excuse as to why real time transmission of results should not be adopted.

However, the common man on the street (whose votes have been altered/manipulated by the current biro and tipex system) now coming out to attack the real time transmission of results is what I will never understand. How can anybody be comfortable with the nonsense we saw happened in 2023? How can anybody be supporting a system that had count of votes in figures recorded on ECA form altered but the number of votes in words were saying something different? Yet those same votes were counted and used to determine the winner of an election?

The line of thought that the current system is not perfect, but it is still better than the real time transmission being proposed is a terrible mindset that shows we are comfortable with failure and won't welcome any attempt to chart a new course that may be successful in practice. Having accepted that our judiciary is rotten and would interpret the law in a way that favors the incumbent government that appointed them, the least we can do is to pressure the legislature to do the right thing by enacting a law that will reduce the chances of unscrupulous politicians gaming the system to present to us the worst candidates that can manipulate the system for their own selfish interests at the polls.

Unfortunately, NLC and other labor unions/civil societies will only make noise, after some time the noise will fizzle out, and the politicians would still have their way eventually by pushing the bitter pill down our throats.

Bro, this is not NLC or unions/Civil society matter like that sha..It's pure politics now and opposition politicians are the ones that should be blocking the NASS because the election is already over with such declaration..

Obi, Atiku, etc are all tweeting..Very lazy bunch of people.. Imagine David Mark speech during an occasion he went to and Akpabio was present.. Instead of saying things as it is, e dey shake mouth..

Na to focus my energy on BenKalu and OrjiUzorKalu them..When Obi and co are serious, they'll tell us..

But there are opposition members in the house of assembly who also voted in favor of the cancelation of real time transmission of election results na.

I don't think Obi, Atiku, etc are lazy by tweeting about the issue. I think they understand the people they are dealing with and they understand that they won't hesitate to use lethal force against them or even rope them as trying to stage a forceful change of government instead of waiting for the elections.

We've seen how the government has always clamped down on protesters since the ENDSARS shootings that led to loss of innocent lives. Methinks those guys you call lazy don't want any body's blood on their conseince.

As far as I'm concerned politics should not be do or die affair. If the ruling party want to sacrifice as many innocent people as possible to cling on to power, the opposition doesn't need to play into their hands by approaching things with hot head like u are suggesting.

Na wetin dey muse me be that. The terrorists make HD videos of their attack against government forces and they upload those videos online which suggests they have access to stable internet connection even in the thick forests where people ordinarily don't inhabit.

But our senate president is boldly telling us there are 9 states that don't have stable internet connection so real time transmission of election results must be scrapped.

It's a shame!

Allegedly thugs are already being mobilized to counter/shut down the protest anytime soon.

After some time police will step in to stop further protest.

Read the highlighted lines below and ask longlivenprospa to educate you on how and why only Kanu could cancel the sit-at-home and why he didn't make the directive before now.

IPOB Cancels Sit-at-Home Order Following Directive from Nnamdi Kanu

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has announced the cancellation of its sit-at-home order across the South-East, following a directive from its detained leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Omo, this counterfeiting of drinks is a menace that is slowly killing people. I think the only way out is for people to be blowing whistle on them anywhere you see them codedly running this fake drink operation.

It's so bad that these fake drinks find their way on to the shelf of some reputable shopping malls and stores.

During my son's naming ceremony, my friend that accompanied me to the mall where I got drinks suggested we download a particular app on iOS app store to scan the bar code of the drinks before buying to check their authenticity.

Omo! For every 4 Hennessey bottle we scan, only 1 would turn out to be original while the rest 3 were counterfeit. I mean we scanned over 40 bottles of Hennessey and only 10 turned out to be original. That means they are mixing the original and the fake ones to sell without most people differentiate between them.

And most people would be thinking since tbey are buying from a reputable store then they shouldn't have any fear of buying a counterfeit drink.
