immaculatesense:Why are you pro criminal and anti Igbo, as if Igbo are the only tribe asking for transparency. Nigeria asked for accountability, alas it is impossible because of architecture of rigging is still intact. No network in 9 states is a lame excuse that portray nigeria as unredeemable. Once your people do not have any iota of trust in you, your fall is inevitable. |

immaculatesense:Stop justifying this madness! INEC officials who conducted elections in LGAs without network should go to the nearest location with internet services and uploaded the election results. Nigeria must transmit election results electronically. |

immaculatesense:So are you saying no one is using cell phone there or what?. You only need Internet to transmit the results, and there's practically and almost no where in Nigeria states you cannot make call from. Meanwhile, I have also worked for Ikwo local between 2014 to 2018, I made video calls and the likes from there. Only used to come to Abakaliki for banking and for purchase of some other food stuff on weekly basis. |

Say that to the Air Sir, it's lugubrious that in this digital era u are proud to say that there's no network in 9 State. Just say that transmission of results will mar some ppls ambition.. |

| Re: No Network In 9 States’ – Akpabio Justifies Senate Decision by immaculatesense(m): 11:15pm On Feb 08 |
Twob:Guy, I am telling you that there are some places where there is no network service at all. When you step into those communities, network will vanish until you step out into another community that is connected. I am telling you fact. That thing almost ruin my relationship when I was in service. I could only call when I get to/near Abakaliki, she no fit just call me anyhow. And I am sure that there are worse place than that in this country especially in the North. No Be Juju Be Dat? |

immaculatesense:Keep on defending everything in the APC government, mind you that a child that roasts a tuber of yam every morning, one day yam will finish but morning never finishes, by the way who boasted and promised everything about the electronic bla bla bla to Nigerians in 2022? Where were the 9 states with out network when the results of the election was being transmitted before the machine was interrupted and switched off in 2023 presidential election results announcement? Keep up your paid job, but note that many have gone |

With small money, Elon Musk can beam his internet infrastructure in Nigeria and redirect it after election. Lol Ships, planes make communication from remote areas, how large is Nigeria again? |

| Re: No Network In 9 States’ – Akpabio Justifies Senate Decision by xxxx999jon: 11:31pm On Feb 08 |
This is a very simple thing, most of them got there through rigging...vote your state house of reps out, vote the federal house of reps out ,vote the senators out ,let's vote in the ones that knows that starlinks exits, even if you are in the valley,on water it will work also there is solar battery that can work anywhere to charge the device ... electronic transfer of votes is a must and must be enacted ..I believe Tinubu won the 2023 election,ob economy he is "kinda"doing well,on security ,he is failing like his predecessorsfrom obj till now none has taken the bulk by the horn all in the name of not annoying the north. But the funny thing is that the north needs a string hand to deal with insecurity than anywhere in the country |
| Re: No Network In 9 States’ – Akpabio Justifies Senate Decision by OmoOshodi(m): 11:33pm On Feb 08 |
With all this kind of exposure ..there will never be free and fair election in Nigeria....those 9 state with insecurity will turn out to produce millions of votes on election day.... Yet insecurity is their excuse. I give up on Nigeria

| Re: No Network In 9 States’ – Akpabio Justifies Senate Decision by xxxx999jon: 11:41pm On Feb 08 |
immaculatesense:I agree but still now there is starlinks and other satellite network providers eutel also ...there is no where in the world you can be on surface of earth that you can't transmit with the right device ..this senate argument does not hold waters ..we will be a laughing stick all over the world . The essence of digital transmission is for voters to stand and see their votes counted, result pasted in each polling units and same result appears on inec national board ..it's not rocket science. Inec tried to do it during last election but what scuffled it was inec server/network all the uploaded pictures were trying to get in at the same time that's why there was a lag ..same thing happens with your phone when you have tii much things in thd memory the phone , laptop, computer slows down ..that should by now have expand the capacity a thousands folds and sace us the gibberish Senate president is saying. |

| Re: No Network In 9 States’ – Akpabio Justifies Senate Decision by maik: 11:44pm On Feb 08 |
press9jatv:Electronic transmission of result is very good but to say the truth, so many villages in the northern part of Nigeria does not have mobile network, you will need to climb trees before you can initiate calls. The only solution is to tell does people to relocate to a town with a good internet network before they will be able to vote. Even, telecom engineers do not want to resolve issues in some Northern villages due to safety issues. |
| Re: No Network In 9 States’ – Akpabio Justifies Senate Decision by intruder15(m): 11:45pm On Feb 08 |
immaculatesense:Don't mix it up. His opinion is valid to an extent. But it looks stupidd. Do you know why? Its just like trying to justify why one cannot make it in life. No matter how sensible it sounds, it will still look foolishh. It will make more sense for the law to be "mandatory transmission of result is compulsory". However, areas that is having network glitch, it can be delayed by x hours when they are expected to have gotten to the central collation center which is mostly the capital city that has network. This makes more sense than what Akpabio is saying. But then again, it will be senselesss to expect Akpabio to make decisions that favours the masses against his cronies. What do you expect from him when he was single handedly made the senate president by the cronies. |
