This is what it means to lead. Electronic accreditation via BVAS, voting and timely transmission of election results from IREV to INEC secured and retrievable server is a must.

Most personal details information, banking, education exams, govt processes are now done electronically within secure servers power by TELECOS. Though no system is 100% foolproof, electronic elections have had proven success in UI, Estonia, Namibia, Zimbabwe, South Africa and the last US elections. Nigeria can't afford to remain behind.

The electoral, democratic and constitutional processes needs to be bettered with or without their limitations. True democracy starts from a credible electoral system. The only people kicking against this development are the anti-democratic elements.
So much well concocted and conjectured grammar, system needs rugged men, lets people prepare with even arms, anybody that is not ready to go dirty to serve humanity in nigeria should not waste peoples'precious time.

He won't even be ADC candidate. What is surprising to me about Obi is that he claims to want a better Nigeria but still join a party that is full of people who are Nigerians problem. The man is a pretender to the core.

INEC AND TELECOS STAND

Just because you lead a cause for TRANSPARENCY, EFFICIENCY and POSTERITY does not mean you MUST be angling to benefit from it at all cost. If that is your mindset then there will NEVER be any meaningful electoral REFORMS in this Country...

This is what we have been asking for. It is operation rig and die. They're taking advantage of his quiet nature and there are limits to how much a person can take. This man has huge followers and only a tweet from him would have shut down this country during the last election but he didn't allow emotions over logic. Millions of Nigerians say enough is enough.
Which quiet nature? Gibberish! IThe same man you are supporting is in the same party with people that destroyed Nigeria, same set of politicians. Obi has no credibility just noise and pretence!

eTransmission of result can be manipulated because human beings will input the data. If this is correct, who has the upper hand to manipulate such results. Is it the ruling party headed by Tinubu, not Buhari or the opposition headed by nobody but set of a confused and uncoordinated gang.

What's so difficult with eTransmission of result? They just want an easy opportunity to rig. We all must resist this and ensure eTransmission of result is a must!

ILoveNG:
It’s not difficult to transmit results electronically, in fact it’s permitted under the law so INEC can do it.

The problem is Mandating it. Power, Network coverage, logistics have always been an issue in Nigeria and all of these are important for e transmission. Any single issue in any polling unit in any rural area will mean that the results of such polling units will not count.

This can even be used for serious manipulation
You see, Power, Network coverage, logistics are just technical issues that can be handled with proper planning and contingencies. As you mentioned and as I see it too, the problem is MANDATING it. Once mandated, and proper planning follows, we will have a smooth and credible election that will bring to doubt the credibility of June 12 election, as its (June 12 election) still adjudged the most credible in Nigeria so far.

[quote author=Morenikeji090 post=138411591]You just keep disturbing yourself you won’t and never become a president of Nigeria unless u can become a Biafra president tho… who are even those deceiving that you gonna become a president lol

Keep talking like you’re God, as if the power to make or stop a president lies with you. Leadership isn’t decided by your hatred or mockery. Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians, and no amount of bitterness changes that. History has a way of humbling loud mouths.

e-voting may be the end of opposition.

e-voting fraud is sophisticated and hard to detect.

The right result must be announced. Maybe video evidence of election conduct at polling unit and video evidence of result announcement.

But then all this just make election expensive. There is a need to rebuild trust in the system.

I will suggest open ballot instead of secret ballot.
Open ballot keh
U want helinues and yarimo to vote Obi ni

With voters accreditation and all that goes one before the voted casting, it will be difficult to manipulate. Moreover, in case of any manipulation, their would be digital footprints making the manipulation easily traced/tracked.
