The moment a stranger, especially one you're certain is not your country man blows your ringtone, you go first smile.

Check the video of one guy that accosts strangers in town centers with the claim that he can speak their languages.

First, they will be snobbish but the moment he speaks their language, the strong face thaws like melted ice cream.

Yeah.... check the Nigerian speaking Chinese with northern Chinese dialect.... they are in total shock that it's unbelievable because northern Chinese dialect isn't what foreigners learn.
