Nigerians, start to learn how to appreciate your own and stop looking at other people's lives/work to attach yourself. It speaks of insecurity and lack of self-esteem. Kudos to the guys but put more work at home. You are the joke of foreigners when they see how you want to be so involved in what's not yours. I know we like to see our people do well out there, I like it too but we can never own what isn't ours, even if all the NFL/EPL/NBA teams field Nigerian players! One of the reasons why mixed race children or children born abroad will always identify with their African roots is because of ACCEPTANCE. Africa will always accept you, the other people will always remind you you are not from them even if you look it. They will color you with an artificial colour black and lump you into Black History Month because they are not interested in you. They never want to see you big and confident. They want to give you parts of the movie they created and the role they created for you. That's their own perception they want to keep for us and that is not your truth unless you own your own story, be proud of it and tell it. Put that energy into holding your elected public officers to account. Charity begins from home. Charity begins at home. Charity never begins outside.

This is impressive. This shows that as Nigerians, nor matter the industry we commit ourselves to, we always thrive to succeed. We are constipated on the inside looking for the right environment to burst out. Up Nigeria. |

But Peter Obi the fraud singled out his tribesmen to congratulate. Very tribalistic man. Na that kind of character you people want to package for us to rule a country like Nigeria. You are joking

Flangelo12:Are u dull or what ...so u know the number of successful people that would have emerged from this country if we had good leaders ... Nigeria is a dream killer... so because burna wiz and obo are successful...it now means Nigeria is doing well... see the way u reason ... can an average banker get a facility or loan to buy a house ... can a lecturer buy a brand new car in Nigeria?? Can a doctor thats 5yrs in the system afford to buy a 4 bedroom duplex in surulere...talkless of ajah...ur minimum wage is 70k ...while theirs is 2500 dollars ...and u are mentioning wiz and obo.... why not mention what our local league players earn in our NFL ...or u will compare what actors earn over there to what Ramsey Noah earns here |

cr7lomo:Hahahaha...lol. Well, if they were here, the following might happen 1. They might become known for something else 2. They won't be known, because American football, indeed, girdion sports of any kind is not popular in nigeria or africa. At all. Yes, we got some american football teams here, but they are niche, and composed of a few people. Fans are even rarer. And you need fans in substantial numbers to attract supporters and money. If they had grown up in say the UK, or europe or asia, they still won't have been known unless they made their way to america to play in the NFL. 3. A lot of nigerians are known irrespective of how bad things are. 4. EVEN if we vote for good leaders you feel satisfied with, a lot of people still won't be known. Even in America, a lot of good high school football players never will make it into the NFL. |

| Re: 6 NFL Stars Of Nigerian Descent Shine In 2026 Super Bowl by Salewa97: 3:27pm On Feb 09 |
cr7lomo:Even in USA, you only buy all this things on a lecturer salary with mortgage loan. No lecturer in USA can buy a new 4 bed apartment without loan. No lecturer can even buy a new car without car loan on his own salary. At least not a $40k car. Infact 85% of new cars bought in USA are through loans irrespective of the job the person is doing. Nigeria government need to ensure civil servants are able to get loans to be able to live better. |

Salewa97:Can a lecturer buy a brand new car in Nigeria like their counterparts in Europe and America, even with loan...thats my question |
| Re: 6 NFL Stars Of Nigerian Descent Shine In 2026 Super Bowl by Flangelo12: 3:30pm On Feb 09 |
cr7lomo:How many countries do you have lectures buying brand new cars? I've told you to grow up. Better still, travel then grow up. |
| Re: 6 NFL Stars Of Nigerian Descent Shine In 2026 Super Bowl by Salewa97: 3:31pm On Feb 09 |
cr7lomo:No, because we don’t have a good loan system in Nigeria and we don’t have the manufacturing base to make affordable cars outside the normal European market. There are some cars that are $10k new that they can buy with loans if we have the means. We just need to redouble the effort |
