First Lady Oluremi Tinubu says she was surprised by the recognition she received from United States President Donald Trump.

Tinubu spoke during an interview on Fox News while on an official visit to the United States.

“Who would have thought that President Trump would recognise me? I am getting global recognition on all of this, and that is what life is all about. If something is going to be good, it starts from the rubbles,” she said.

This followed her recent appearance at the United States National Prayer Breakfast in Washington DC.

At the high profile annual event, President Trump publicly acknowledged the Nigerian First Lady and recognised her as a highly respected leader of one of the largest churches in Nigeria.

Daily Trust reports that the National Prayer Breakfast is an annual interfaith gathering in the United States that brings together political leaders, lawmakers, religious figures and invites international guests to reflect on faith, leadership and global cooperation.

The event has, over the years, served as a platform for diplomatic engagement and symbolic recognition of foreign dignitaries in attendance.

This statement by Remi is a clear indication that her husband and herself are running an illegitimate govt. Only an illegitimate govt goes about seeking for other world leaders validation. Remi had to flying hundreds of thousands of miles over the sea to go attend a morning devotion.
Trump doesn't rate Tinubu or his govt, else, why is it that the only place Remi can get to see Trump is the devotion ground? A devotion ground is a place where no one can be rejected. Had Trump rate Tinubu and his wife, he would have met with Remi in his Oval office or somewhere else much more presidential aside the devotion ground. Madam Remi should stop celebrating rubbish.

You guys were expert at monitoring Turai and Dame, please don't do the same thing you condemned them off. You even went to the extent that they should disclose details of their health trips to Germany as first lady, yet Buhari and Tinubu will go do checkup and they won't tell us anything, they will claim different lies. If you want to practise what you preach and avoid double standards, please let her sit this out and let the government's official apparatchik handle US. After all, this party rewards loyalists who are ready to defend the country and stand on your husband's mandate to do their job.
