Hello all, please I need your opinion about the issue of blocked account. Can I fund Fintiba as my blocked account and use the Dr. Walter in Expatrio for health insurance? I want to know if it's allowed or if it is a must to use the same vendor for both blocked account and health insurance. Please, has anyone tried this and is successful in getting the Chancekarte visa?

Yes, very possible... Just unselect the "value added package" when trying to book insurance on Expatrio.

If you finished from a university that is recognized you don't need job experience. However you can show that you have been attempting to apply for a job.

Good morning all. Please on the consular portal, I can see that i am on waiting list, but i keep getting " you have not processed your pending application for 30 days. your application will be automatically deleted in 30 days if it has not been processed by then."

please am i doing sth wrong, or everyone on the waiting list occassionally get it too

Also, i recently got admission. I am scared of applying for student visa, as i already have a visa process in motion.( this opportunity card). can two visa processes be made, or it will lead to be being denied of both. thanks

For this, everyone gets it. for example if you join the waiting list 1st January, you will get the mail 1st of every month while you are waiting to reconfirm that you are still interested

Anytime you receive the email, login with the link attached to the email and confirm you are still interested. You will be getting in every month.

Before applying for Chancenkarte, I have a running application for student visa. After aiting for over six months, just when I was expecting to be invited for student visa interview, I got an email from the embassy that they student visa application have been canceled because I changed my visa category. So i'll advice you ensure to only have one running application.

I think it is possible to create an account and apply with a different email address. One email address can only accept one application

While registering I made a mistake filling my visa category as employment instead of opportunity card and I have joined the wait list. So am thinking of discarding the application to start a new one

Please I went for my interview in October and I am still waiting for a decision.

But now my DHL return envelope has expired as it it more than 3 months I purchased it, and the embassy will not be able to return my passport to me.,

and secondly my 15 months health insurance coverage is now remaining 11 months, though I have updated the start date to January 2026. Please what should I do? should I contact the embassy? please is there anyone with similar situation, your advice will be very helpful.

Seriously I can't predict this process anymore, someone that did interview in December has gotten a response but the one of October is still waiting for a response.

Until now, nobody has confirmed if they have reached the August people on the waiting list. The last one we saw was 31st of July.
This trend used to be very busy last year but now, just hoping for the best

Even some January guys have gotten response.... I am not sure they have gotten to August. I guess they stopped at July 31st. You guys are the next... Probably by beginning of next month.

I am thinking the waiting time for the different visa categories are likely different. So if Opportunity card waiting time is shorter than that of employment, it may be in his best interest to reapply
