Four legacy projects started by this administration are all superhighways.

- The 1000km Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway
- The 700km Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway
- The 477km Calabar-Ebonyi-Abuja Superhighway
- The 422km Akwanga-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe Expressway

All intended to incorporate railtracks in between too with the last one approved for commencement this past week.

This is very commendable from president TINUBU

I swear, I always pray for Tinubu to be Nigeria president. Now I'm very happy he's turning Nigeria around.

Anyone that doesn't like this should move to Djibouti.

The way these projects are hyped, one would think nigeria never had roads before 2023.

One would even think the funds are coming out from BAT's personal pocket.

Other administrations built roads and did it with a sense of duty, no insulting the opposition or trying to unneccesarily justify why it is needed.

Yes, we need roads. Just as much as we need roads, we need security.
Existing highways need attention.
We need stable power supply.
We need sound and reliable healthcare.

These new highways are not misplaced priorities like some people may want to believe. I just know there's enough money to go around and get things done. Let the current leaders get these things done or step aside.

The Sokoto Badagry is 1000km and the Lagos Calabar is 700km. I don't get it? Wha was all the noise all about? Why didn't they shout on the sokoto badagry that's more longer and more money to spend? I have neve r seen any northern kick against the sokoto badary but against the lagos calaber road. Something is not right here.

you lied fat one, coastal Road ideas was consive in 2003 but OBASANJO goes against it for security reasons then.

Abi you no know how many projects were later retitled as unfinished projects for this country?

It's a nice dream but make e finish am first and if the time frame for finishing it go pass his time in office, I no even know wetin to tell una wey dey commend such projects.

I remember back in the days when GEJ went to commission a picture of the 2nd Niger bridge... Abeg can anyone help me with that picture.

It is Buhari under the APC that eventually built that bridge. Buhari may have been abysmal in the area of economy that he allowed Emefiele to mess up for him, and security, where we reallly thought he would do better but in the area of infrastructure APC under Buhari and Tinubu stand heads and shoulders over their contemporaries.

Snake oil merchants! We know 30 kilometers have been completed on the 15 trillion naira Lagos coastal road. Kindly tell us how many kilometres have so far been completed on the others, their total project cost and the amount expended on each thus far. This is his third year in office and elections are next year.

As far as they have constant electricity. The national grid has been falling as much as Tinibu's common sense in recent times.

Hmm. On paper this sounds good, no lie. Roads linking zones and rail in the middle is exactly what we need for trade and movement.

But make dem no just turn am to another flag-off project wey go stall after camera don go. Nigerians don see plenty beautiful road maps before. Let execution match the announcement this time. Let’s watch closely.
