Abuja

Airport road Abuja is a worldclass 10 lanes superhighway leading to the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport in the capital city of Abuja Nigeria. The city of Abuja was built from scratch during the oil windfall of the 90s by the then military president Ibrahim Babangida GCFR. Abuja is among the most beautiful cities in Africa and world at large and also Nigeria's seat of power where the president of the largest black nation on earth lives. Lalasticlala

Lagos

Ikorodu road Lagos was the first 10 lanes superhighway that was developed in Nigeria when it was the capital of Nigeria in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Ikorodu road runs several kilometres, traversing the city centre up to Yaba areas of the city. You cannot write the history of Lagos without putting Ikorodu road at the prime place in history books. Lagos is the commercial capital of Nigeria and West Africa at large.

Onitsha

The famous Niger River and Niger Bridge defines Onitsha as the gateway to the Igbo heartland. The British Royal Niger Company used the Onitsha Port for commercial purposes during pre-colonial era. This road was formerly Head-Bridge road, until it was renamed to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu way in 2012 by ex president Goodluck Jonathan in honor of the Biafran warlord. This road is among the roads in Nigerian cities with 10 lanes. Onitsha is the economic and commercial hub of the eastern Nigeria and also hosts the largest market in West Africa. Western education and European missionary services first berth in Onitsha before spreading to other parts of eastern Nigeria and beyond.

Port Harcourt

Port Harcourt was founded in 1912 by Frederick Lugard, governor of both the Northern Nigeria Protectorate and the Southern Nigeria Protectorate. Port Harcourt is a very prominent city and also the oil and gas headquarters in West Africa. Port Harcourt- Aba road in Port Harcourt is a 10 lanes superhighway. History of Nigeria cannot be written without Port Harbourt taking a prime place. Port Harcourt hosts alot of multinational oil companies like Shell, Agip, Total, Chevron, etc. Port Harbourt is thus the oil and gas capital of Nigeria and West Africa at large.

I think he could have spent N70bn which the project would cost on something more productive

Oyo state revenue is around 50bn to 70bn per year, which should leave about N30bn N40bn for capital expenditure.

We can't spend 90% of our capital expenditure project on a simple thing as road, especially since ibadan doesn't have a traffic problem like Lagos.

We should rather invest more in Agriculture and industry to create more employment opportunities.

This is biased @op.
Very biased
E.g. this is in kano.

Or does this not meet your criteria? undecided
Cos I know where this is heading to.

There is so much love lost amongst all in Nigeria as days go by.

Why not divided them to manageable states and tribes instead of this.

Nice Road.. but what I don't understand is how a nice road will be constructed and the contractors forgets to mark the lanes . Was that an oversight or where they deliberately being naughty?
