This are comforting words to make sense of you not doing enough. But to be fair, everyone has their limits which is created by them. Don't believe everything but be open minded to see things from another angle and possibly learn from it. Other people's reality is not yours, vice versa. There are guys here who I met on this platform who are doing numbers you wouldn't believe but don't talk about it as this is a public forum.
Honestly, I don't have a prob with your figure tho. I don't just like how you simplify the Hussle as if others don't know what they are doing! Investors are wailing, drivers are not delivering,a high percentage of them! If you put 5M as an investor in this biz today, you won't recover it! Except if you PLAN well! Those who are raking d numbers as you claim have one thing in common, LONGER HOURS! I won't advice even my enemy to drive for 18 hours, it's suicidal. I won't allow you drive my car for 18 hours a day!
To get a single trip of 10k on indrive now, you'll almost drive from east to west. My wife is now taking 5k on a steady from Alapere to island everyday. That's ridiculous! On 839 naira per litre, 12.5 commission, very expensive part! Yes you can still make ALOT of money, by driving 5am to 11pm! That's what most of you are doing but won't dare say it.
I'm making money but this is what I AM DOING! Better than trying to sugarcoat things as if indriver dey give you special trip different from what others are getting...

Nobody can drive straight from 5am to 11pm. I have broken down how I operate, from 6am to 12pm, take break and resume by 4pm to 9/10pm for 4 days in a week. Just learn not to take any and every kind of trips. Even if you work for longer hours if you're not strategic, you would just circle around Lagos with no aim or little money. Nothing is wrong in also sharing operational and earning experience, it actually helps too, don't just take it from a point of envy or oppression. This is what helped me when I started last year September or so, kudos to everyone who constantly gave advice and shared experiences.

I did this rubbish btwn July and September last year.
When the wahala started with my car, Crankshaft, Oil pump, overheating, metal break etc.

That's why, I will NEVER work in the afternoon again, especially when it's sunny🙄

Hmmmm.
God no go shame us.
You might find if very difficult to hustle in Lagos, being that you have only visited once.
But fear not, you go blend in.
Whenever you decide to migrate to Lagos for the hustle, please go straight to the Island.
Avoid mainland completely.
But do you have someone here in Lagos that's ready to accommodate you?
because you no fit migrate to a new land without accommodation.
With your Corolla, 20k fuel should gross you like 80k or a bit above, according to Corolla users.

Much respect, baba.
Thanks boss, yes I have accommodation.
Give me some reasons why I should avoid mainland completely

Yeah, rides are scarce on weekdays at night. When i work overnight on weekdays, I go to admiralty road, or adeniran ogunsanya in surulere. When rides stop coming around 1am, I just sleep till 5am and start work again till like 8am

I suffered from this too when I just started. Reduce your km to 2km. I think there's a setting on that. And don't always accept all rides, if you must cancel, ask the rider to cancel for you by asking them to get another ride. Or just tell them your car developed issues and they would gladly obliged with sympathy sef
wish I got informed on time , my act just got suspended for 14 days ..well for now ,I’m sticking with Uber ,need to earn my pro gold status ..

Mainland is a tough part in Lagos.
If you no sabi road wella, you are most likely to enter road/traffic enforcement trap, even some louts go wan whine you for road, and a simple mistake can make you regret driving.
Some people wey be Lagos-based self dey loose guard some times.
Mainland hustle is actually for Lagos drivers wey rugged and already used to it.
Driving on the Island is way more peaceful, comes with no worries of getting caught in their net.
Na because you're not based in Lagos be the reason why I will advise you keep your hustle on the island.
Mainland hustle is not for the meek or a stranger.

There are guys here who I met on this platform who are doing numbers you wouldn't believe but don't talk about it as this is a public forum.
I once met another driver that was sitting on 40k as at 11am in the morning. I jam this guy at Ikoyi, turned out he lived in my area, 2 minutes away from me. By that time I met him, I was still on 8k, bro was already on 40k. And I confirmed his trip log on his bolt app. His trips for that day were just immaculate. So one thing I've learnt since I started is that there are no hard numbers to work with. And if you don't have a price filter, and keep taking 2-3k rides, you'd just be doing advertisement for this ride apps.

Besides, I don't know why he found your numbers unbelievable. My numbers are similar to yours. Same work routine (Fridays, Mondays, Saturday and Sundays), similar car, yours is Camry 2010 mine is 2011 V4. And I know my route is not very efficient, cause I still have a lot to learn but my January dashboard showed 760k (400k from bolt, about 320k on Uber and 40k Indrive) not counting offline.

I don’t know why bolt keeps complaining about my driver score.. I’m not allowed to check on trips I accept and cancel at will cause I can’t drive to such destinations, said it is against their rules..They will advertise a trip so fast and expect you to accept a trip going to Ojo or ogun state and you can’t as a driver cancel the trip yourself..Mehn it not really cool and the only chance you get to see where you are going to properly is when you are well leveled up in the chain of driver score and ranks ..I’m still at bronze lol ,just did a weekend trip after fixing my abs sensor cost me up to 550k ,need to recover this funds asap ..
First off abs IS NOT THAT SERIOUS..... 2nd 55k you mean RIGHTTTTT?

Omo, at this point, one must give it to Bolt, if not for them, I for dey deal with those consciousless people on Indrive. For you to survive on Indrive, you must be highly knowledgeable of Lagos roads and timing schedule of traffic if not, you go hate yourself. Bolt might have higher commission but if you target rides well especially when there's surge, you would be shocked when you end a trip. I carried someone from Freedom way this morning to Apple Junction(Festac access road) it was initially 13k but on getting to there, it showed 19k, note the road was extremely free, coz it was around past 9am so we were literally going against traffic.
Yes indrive needs hella of experience.... And it's my first choice

That's if you're not experienced, a good boll joint will last a very long time.
Why waste money changing it when they are still good, well like i said you can be doing that when you are not experienced on how those things work sha.
