You see I've become so complacent that I don't even expect infrastructure like rail from the Nigerian government because they've made most of us see it as a very big deal. Then again the lagos-ibadan model is not a very good example because of speed and relatively few strategically located train stops/stations.

I was shocked when I watch it live thee work on Calabar coastal road axis coming from Calabar to Lagos and I was told it will take just 5 hours from Calabar to Lagos if th road is completed I can imagine the rate at which the corridor will open Calabar for business.

Yes, Nigeria never had roads. See the thickness of the concrete being used for a lasting road. Not the ones that become death traps few years after construction. Besides, it connects the nation better covering the perimeter where feasible. Then railway track in between is a lot of improvement. I don't expect any successor to go back to road designs that are archaic.

did you knkw that No Nigerian president has embarked on such a long project in the histroy of Nigeria. The longest at a go road project was 347km by Buhari and he didn't complete it despite coal tar and we have someone using concrete and has done close to 300km of the coastal highway within 3 years

The one being built in my State currently is built using reinforced concrete, roads built like this stands the test of time. Some lasting 20 to 30 years. It is not like past administrations did not built roads. It is the quality. How many governments or administrations has built super highways since the inception or our national independence.
