Aba metropolitan area has around 1.3 million people according to UN data and the Geometric power plant built over twenty years is providing steady power for the whole area. The capacity of the plant is 141MW and it cost 800 million dollars to build. It is a gas fired turbine supplied gas by a 27km gas pipeline. Going by the population the plant is currently serving, one may posit that twenty of such plants scattered all over the country can go a long way in solving the power problem of the country. They don't all have to be gas fired as there are many options across the country including hydro, solar and etc. Twenty of such plants will cost sixteen billion dollars if the same design. Gas delivery may be a problem but I believe gas can be delivered by tankers. Natural gas is traded across countries transported by ships, only that pipelines will make it cheaper. Twenty of such plants together which will be less than 5000 MW in capacity is not enough to power the country adequately but given the population the plant in Aba is serving, it can go some way. |

Innovation, efficiency, good leadership and accountability are key. |

One of the problems Nigeria has is the way every critical aspect of socio-economic life and security are over-centralised and used as a tool by some to enrich themselves, and control everyone else! When the occasional breakaway from this order occurs, you see things begin to work as it would in a sane clime! |

IduNaOba:They’d first have to find the money to pay Emeka Offor off! |

Burob:Babablu Bulabu. Is brewery not a company providing jobs to many? |
| Re: The Geometric Power Plant In Aba by maiunguwar: 2:22pm On Feb 09 |
IGBOPROMISE1:The electricity act has been repealed. State governments or in conjunction with private investors can generate, transmit and distribute power. Emeka offor and his EEDC can be bypassed . Geometric power can be expanded to a 1000MW facility,he can partner with neighbouring states to export power. He can seek for funding from banks or he can invite high calibre investors |

Burob:I am quoting you for educational purposes as I hope someday you’d outgrow your current intellectual disability. GPAL( Geometric Power Aba Ltd) is a private project conceived by Prof Bath Nnaji and just like Dangote, he fought to see his business succeed. His latest battle was with EEDC. Am sure you will have another teacher down the line to share links with you. With the reversed laws on power generation Governors can easily partner with investors for power generation and distribution which during the time of Peter Obi as governor was non existent. Coming to OP, NDPHC has about 5 power plants and gas is not the issue with Power generation in Nigeria. It’s simply politics, same way the government has sold crude oil ten years into the future same way our gas has been projected for European market. Heard of AKK? It has been making front page news here in Nairaland. |

Prof NNAJI the former minister of power from Enugu state, you are a patriotic citizen for establishing this private power project in aba . |

Burob:While Tinubu was investing in forgery, identity theft, land grabbing and also buccaneering his way into power, siphoning and milking the entire commonwealth of Lagosians into his personal pocket via opaque and fraudulent Alpha Beta deals |

Ofunaofu:As usual, started your day with wailing this Tuesday morning? People that have refused to move their lives forward, unless Tinubu helps them? Dey there they wait for Tinubu to come & help u. |

owobokiri:Are u referring to the alleged allegations against your president? |
| Re: The Geometric Power Plant In Aba by Burob: 8:41am On Feb 10 |
owobokiri:E be like say this brewery jibe against Gringory Obi really pain una, even your brother Ofunaofu hurriedly made an obnoxious comment also. |
| Re: The Geometric Power Plant In Aba by Ofunaofu: 8:53am On Feb 10 |
Burob:I also forgot to add that he empowered individuals like you to enthusiastically whitewash his despicable and fraudulent character, remarkable, considering he has never denied the forgeries, identity theft, or his well-documented history as a drug bárón. |
| Re: The Geometric Power Plant In Aba by MEGAWATCH: 8:57am On Feb 10 |
Burob:Your brother Dapo Abiodun was investing in credit card fraud and finally you bless him with the governor of your state. A confirmed exconvit o! What a region? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
| Re: The Geometric Power Plant In Aba by Burob: 9:59am On Feb 10 |
MEGAWATCH:Chai, I had no idea that the Gringory Obi jibe about building a brewery instead of establishing an electricity infrastructure like Abia state will pain una like this? Indeed the truth is really a very bitter pill to swallow. |
| Re: The Geometric Power Plant In Aba by heniford2: 10:09am On Feb 10 |
yarimo:nice comment here 👍🏽 the man really tried but I feel is earning enough money from Aba power project why can't others come together like him to fix this particular stuff |
| Re: The Geometric Power Plant In Aba by MEGAWATCH: 3:22pm On Feb 10 |
Burob:But it's better to build a brewery that is producing Hero beer in memory of Biafra than being a credit card theif...... Why do you people enjoy celebrating criminals? Oba Tinubu Dapo Abiodun Agbaja Buruji Kashamu Byrob All criminals supporting criminal activities in their region. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
| Re: The Geometric Power Plant In Aba by Burob: 3:34pm On Feb 10 |
MEGAWATCH:We are hailing Abia state for investing in electricity generation & distribution which the state is benefiting from today, u are defending a man who invested in a brewery in Onitsha owned by Intafact Beverages Limited (an AB InBev subsidiary). Gringory Obi legacy project in Anambra state is a brewery? |
| Re: The Geometric Power Plant In Aba by MEGAWATCH: 3:45pm On Feb 10 |
Burob:We are hailing Dapo Abiodun and Tinubu's records in United States...... At least they later became leaders in their region. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
| Re: The Geometric Power Plant In Aba by Burob: 3:56pm On Feb 10 |
MEGAWATCH:U keep bringing up Dapo Abiodun & Tinubu’s name trying to change the narrative because u cannot hide the shame that all Gringory Obi has to show as a legacy project in Anambra state is a brewery. Abia state has a generation & distribution electricity project to show as a legacy project, Mr cho cho cho only has a beer investment in onitsha owned by Intafact Beverages Limited (an AB InBev subsidiary). |
| Re: The Geometric Power Plant In Aba by MEGAWATCH: 4:05pm On Feb 10 |
Burob:Which nonsense narrative are you talking about? We are talking about leaders in both regions and their activities. Why are you not proud of the activities of your leaders? You are angry with Obi's investment in Brewery that is still producing beer for us till tomorrow. But you can't talk about the criminal activities of your leaders who later became leaders in your region. Are you sure you are normal. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
