OP, this here is the best answer. 35k will take the driver back to Abj so the 100K fair is okay. However, your money for fuel should be at least 150K

The far distance will tell on the mileage of your car. If you have the financial capacity I will advise you hire a flat bed truck to carry your car from Abuja to Ibadan. This will cost you a lot of money but will save your car the stress and wear and tear.

200k is more than enough.
85k for fuelling the 4 cylinder car, 10 or 15k for other expenses and lunch. 30k to transport himself back to Abuja or wherever he came from. He will pocket at least 70k, which is one month minimum wage for his 3 days labour.

N100k fuel is okay to Ibadan and another N100k return fuel.

Foe the Driver, its purely according to your bargaining power with the driver.

It would be nice if the Driver will be given a room to stay and Food for your N100k price especially if it is for a to and fro journey.

The driver price may change if you are spending more than two days in Ibadan.

Car is meant to be driven bro, except for the bad roads. Hiring a low bed will be way too expensive. More than enough to fix the 'wear and tear' of driving the car But if he can afford it, why not.

Abuja to Ibadan no reach 400 miles and should be a smooth lovely ride to be enjoyed… but Lai lai, you need strong men to help you drive that in Nigeria

This is what I do for a living bring 500k and your car will come in piece.

Last December, I paid someone 80k to drive me and my family to Enugu.. the following day we used 20k and traveled back to Ibadan.. now I can drive smoothly with my 5 years driving license activated

Try see it this way:
For someone to drive to Ibadan for you, the person must first be resident in Abuja.
Cost implication:
*Tfare to your place: N2500
Feeding N2k by 3 = N6,000
Lodging in Ibadan: N20k
Transport fare back to abyja: N30k
Abuja intra city Tfare to his residence: N2500
Car fuelling to IbadanN100k

Total: 161,000 (more or less)

To be candid, N200k does not do it

I think N250k to N300k is a fair deal

A Driver just brought my car from Lagos to Abuja on Sunday, he charged 300k, he took care of the fuel and other expenses by himself.

He went back to Lagos same night. A very cool headed guy.

100k is not bad...
Am into to transportation here in Lagos..A colleague of mine drove a client's vehicle to idanre n paid him 60K...You should be able to get someone to accept that

N100k for service is ok.

Abuja-PH is farther and it was N80k (service fee) in October last year. Talk to commercial drivers. He can drive it on his off day. It is a better option than those kamikaze car delivery drivers.
