An opposition snatched defeat from the jaws of victory because they put their personal ambitions and greed above the collective. They split up and split the votes of 14m Nigerians frustrated against the abuhari regime to victory for an underdog whose party the APC did everything to make him lose. Instead of learning from their mistakes they gaslighted and continue to gaslight their gullible supporters that the problem was our electoral system, the judiciary, the innocent dog just chasing rats and anyone and anybody that can be blamed but themselves. They discredited every progress we had made in our electoral system to mask their incompetence and shame. APC lost 7m votes from 2019 to 2023, they had no business winning. PDP to whom Obi, Atiku and Kwakwanso belonged collectively gained 4m votes in 2023 compared to 2019. The system worked, the electoral system worked, INEC worked, the judiciary worked, the opposition fumbled and put the blame on every one else but themselves discrediting anything that moves. Unfortunately their supporters are gullible and believe them. The irony is their supporters continuing to believe their lies will. Or force them to do the right thing and the same spirit that caused them to fail in 2023 will ensure their failure in 2027. You can’t fix a problem when you have not acknowledged your role in the problem. So if you are an opposition supporter continue to join them in discrediting our institutions instead of putting their feet to the fire. Even as they continue to blame everyone but themselves, they are still on the path of ego and personal ambition that led to their failure in 2023. This time the former “underdog” is now in power, his party is united and he has 29/37 sub national budgets at his disposal but they are still engaging in the same behavior of 2023. God help us when they lose…I fear they will set the country ablaze. |

Sometimes you wonder about the people you share country with! The level of sycophancy by "supposed thought leaders" in this country is just mind blowing. I swear I need a visa to a saner country. How do I get a visa to Sao Tome and Principe or even East Timor? |

No country does real-time electronic voting. All the developed countries still use ballots. You can only do real-time voting by voting on computers. Developed countries are very against computer voting. They count votes. Much ado about nothing. Seems those driving this computer voting just want to hack the systems.

Even in America there is no real time transfer of results across the country. Elections accountability will always be subject to the humans conducting it. |

This is deep! You can’t even guarantee real time money transfer, it you want that of votes. Meaning whatever excuse he gives is a valid excuse for INEC |

GThis [quote author=aisha111 post=138430075]If Peter Obi Can’t Guarantee Real-Time Money Transfer in His Bank, How Can He Want INEC To Guarantee Real-Time Transmission of Election Results? is not about Peter Obi. Real time transmission will help eliminate election fraud . Remember election is not only presidential. We have other elections. |
