They have identified the shooter with no any Islamic appearance or identity. They could not quickly dish out the name. Hypocrites.

A remote mountain town in Canada has been shaken by the country’s deadliest school shooting in decades, when an armed assailant killed at least nine people.

Police found six people dead and dozens injured when they arrived at the high school in Tumbler Ridge, a town of just 2,400 people in northeast British Columbia, early on Tuesday afternoon. Another person died en route to hospital, police said.

The shooter, who was found dead at the school with a self-inflicted injury, is believed to have killed two more people, whose bodies were discovered at a home in the township

Tell us about the profile of the shooter.
Don't conceal the shooter's profile/identity simply because he is not a muslim.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

No where in the world is 100% safe as long as the devil is roaming around.

So sad.
What a pity.
There are psychopaths everywhere.

I expect obidients to blame Tinubu or his Canadian counterpart for this !

We have our own share of psychopaths here.

Sure, Aminda, Kukutente23, Ofunaofu, racoon, MrVitalis, Gringory Obi, vinnie2000, Tenses, Abubakar Atiku, donself9 & so many others to mention will still blame Tinubu & the APC for this.
You know all you guys are both alike...yes, you, pulapower, seunmsg, helinues, legendpower, and your likes, as well as the folk you mention. All of you are very much alike.

When their side was in power, you were criticizing the government, now your side is in power, and everything is okay.

Nigeria is and always has been probelmatic. And it is sad you APC, Obidients, Tinubu , PDP and ADC boys are busy competing for oyel money instead of forcing your leaders to LEAD US WELL.

You guys, all of you don';t have Nigeria's interest at heart.

Stop excusing bad government by the way.

See, stop mentioning me in this kind of conversation. I don't play hypocritical politics. Your colleagues can testify to how I have been disagreeing with the government on some issues. E transmission of election results is recent, check my threads.

If you want the best for whatever you are supporting, then you should be disagreeing once in a while.

ZombieTAMER:
strict gun laws is the way to go
Depends.

Japan seems to have the best strict gun laws in the world. Five or six levels of questioning and testing before you can own a gun.

But it also has a weakness. The guy who shot their former leader Abe Shinzo, he tried to get a gun the legal way...but failed..because he had psychological issues most likely that were picked up in the process. So....he made his own gun. From everyday items found in the trash (yes, who is going to look at a man looking through the trash, eh) and from simple items, and he used the internet to teach himself.

Also we got 3-d PRITNERS that can be used to print out a gun...which is what police in the USA found when they caught a teenager planning a massacare at his high school. 3-D Printed guns were found in his house. The guy knew that he can't buy a gun legally, his parents would look at him one kind (and probably report him) if he asked them, but he could buy a 3-d PRINTER legally. FOrtunately he talked too much online, and the talk came to the attention of the police.

Unless we have some system like the film 'minority report' of catching people before they plan the crime, no gun law can absolutely work. Unless we have cameras in every house (which is a whole nother problem on its own) no gun law, no matter how strict...can work.

Heck, one former teen gangster in the US in the 1950's spoke about how they were able to make guns from a simple car part. In the 1950's!

Quit this clownish behaviour of yours. Your only remedy to the ill of Nigeria is tax increment. How daft can one be.

And for your information I am not a party man. I am an advocate of a new Nigeria that works for all.

Thank your for your attention.

it is not, but highly regulated.

9 persons are killed at this is the worst shooting in decade, unlike USA that could record 30 killings every year and Nigeria that could record 1000+ abductions and killings every year.

Canada is relatively safe
Nigeria is doing tens of thousands abductions and killings every year. You make it sound like a few thousands.

A large crowd of Lagosians was filmed in a long queue struggling to collect a loaf of bread. To maintain order, several military personnel were on the ground to control the crowd. This has triggered a lot of reactions online.
