I don’t know if I don’t understand English or whoever created the rule doesn’t.

If this is the golden rule…

Disclaimer: Every Nairaland member is solely responsible for anything that he/she posts or uploads on Nairaland.”

Why do our comments and posts get deleted? They are supposed to remain visible and whoever made them can/will face the wrath of legal authorities.

Somebody should make this make sense.

Local regulators, international regulators, presence of international investigation bodies to monitor posts as hints for trapping future attacks or national/international vulnerability tendencies

I'm not a lawer, but I believe the post can be captured by a third party before it's deletion, and if such captured evidence is provided, then the forum can count on this very T&C. Say because army dey guide your compound no mean say you go open door sleep.

The posts should not be deleted to begin with, hence the T&C. The more people face legal action for their online behaviour, the quicker other users learn etiquette. Mainstream media sites leave hateful comments untouched because they’re covered by the rule. Nigerian go always pervert protocol.

A certain takedown made him evolve his moderation practices, which is making me wonder if he is censored.

Are you, seun? Censored by anybody?

Posts have been randomly deleted since 2011 when I first joined this site. He evolved his style in 2023. However, deleting offending posts has been the norm for as long as I remember. The truth is the so-called evolution was setting the anti spambot to its highest setting. Nothing revolutionary.

Seun most definitely did give us a voice. And his humility while doing it amazes me to be sincere. Anyone else would be like "I created this", then place everyone else beneath him and swagger around like god in Eden, which would have been detrimental to Nairaland, but seun. Well, apart from his recent semi-erratic spambotting of course. He so humblely I can't even recall us doing 20th anniversary, which in a sense is rather too humblely if I'm asked, being like its covering one's light under a bushel, which of course has merit in its own regard except for advertisers, I'd have thought. M⁰ds!

In fact. Every body, just bow ni! Bow to the God seun!

From what I’ve come across over the years, Nairaland is responsible for anything members post here. The moderators edit and delete any opinion they find polarizing.
