ceejay80s:Hmmm .... so it was snake bite. Snake bite needs urgent attention. Was the hospital nearby? It not nobody in the community knows to treat snake bite? Many deaths can be avoided if we don't completely abandon our traditional healers and rely 100% on hospitals and their pharmaceutical drugs. This is sad ...a death I strongly believe could've been avoided. |

Politicians, senior medical doctors, pharmacists and even nurses have absconded with the money. When we insult them, some of you will say they are sharp. Wait, your own time too will come. Even if you are abroad, you can visit and fall sick. If you are a politician, you can have an emergency that you can’t be flown out. Then you will have to face the rot you created or supported. |

By the way, when is this government going to sack that health minister? Nothing is progressing in that ministry. Only regression and bad news. |

This is really heartbreaking! Nigeria has claimed yet another beautiful soul! If the government had done the needful and prevented the last strike by health workers, many of these deaths wouldn't have happened. But no! The minister of health in conjunction with NMA thought they could muscle up the health workers and force them to return to work! Many of our public hospitals are not functioning optimally the way they should due to problems ranging from lack of equipment, gross shortage of health workers and maladministration by the medical doctors who occupy all the leadership positions in these hospitals. Go to some departments in our public hospitals and you'll see that just a few number of staff are employed to attend to the multitude of patients coming to the hospital. This is despite the fact that hospitals are meant to run 24-7. RIP to the young lady! In her next life, I'm sure she would not want to be born Nigerian. Too bad! |

Death is inevitable. May the Lord prolong our lives in Jesus name. My only question is, did she know Jesus before she passed on to the other side? |
