Lolz! Well that is the BEST engine one can have in TOYOTA V6 & LEXUS 4GR engine, ask any CAR GUY or mech! Jus regular maintenance keeps it alive and solidify passing round the car amidst sever buyer or registered keepers.
It jus that the AWD ON That car is number one enemy and problem. More so the part are expensive in Nigeria.

I swear u no lie. Carbon build up with failed oil valve seals. The petson that bought mine,said it was not the rings but the valve seal,and since he change am,the car no smoke or even get carbon on top piston. Meanwhile all themeko toldmenit was rings.i follow dem argue say if na rings,engine sound go change and e go dey very weak with lil to no compression

Well, if your definition of fast is slow acceleration and 100km/hour, yes, every car is fast. But if your talking about acceleration that slams your neck to the head rest when it takes off (a literal break-neck) speed, the one that makes other cars look like they are at standstill, then that’s fast

Great POST and spot on! IS250 is a well known laggard. But some people still believe its the best things after jollof rice. The REAL DEAL which they fail to properly identify is the IS350 and recently the IS500.

Those are the REAL BEAST churning out SMOOTH power with absolute GRACE.

Car was superb from exterior but badly damaged from interior. I really loved it and still bought it despite glaring issues. I disagree with your speed analysis OP. If there was anything I enjoyed during the short 6months I drove the car usually between Lagos and ibadan, it was the speed and it's sporty nature.

The IS250 is a very slow car with its 215hp, even the slow 2015 C300 is way faster than the IS250.

you should be able to get my point a matrix 2005 with a low ground clearance scale through certain flooded areas you wont want to try same with an is250 else na ready money for another steering rack

I never said the IS250 was “slow”. It’s a 2.5 direct injection V6. 😎. All I am saying is that, with the way it looks and handles, it should have been faster.

Have you driven the equivalent IS350 sir?
