There’s a shortage in New York — just one bathroom for every 8,500 residents. Many are musty and the toilets don’t flush. Some double as shelter for homeless people. cnn.it/4adzi1d So much from the world biggest economy |

⚡Trump: Relations between Venezuela and the United States have been, to put it mildly, extraordinary! We are dealing very well with President Delcy Rodriguez, and her Representatives. Oil is starting to flow, and large amounts of money, unseen for many years, will soon be greatly helping the people of Venezuela. Marco Rubio, and all of our Representatives, are doing a fantastic job, but we speak only for ourselves, and don’t want there to be any confusion or misrepresentation. There is a story about a man named Harry Sargeant III in The Wall Street Journal. He has no authority, in any way, shape, or form, to act on behalf of the United States of America, nor does anyone else that is not approved by the State Department. Without this approval, no one is authorized to represent our Country. |

⚡NATO's Rutte: Do you know what is the biggest difference between NATO and what was formerly known as the Warsaw Pact? NATO is a coalition of democracies with free media and various types of politicians. We always have debates and discussions within NATO; it would be boring if that was not the case. The good news is that this alliance always finds a way forward to come together.

⚡Netanyahu: I have just concluded a short but important visit in Washington, in a conversation with our great friend, Trump. The President believes that the Iranians have already learned who they are dealing with. I believe that the conditions he is creating, combined with the fact that they certainly understand they made a mistake the last time by not reaching an agreement, may create the conditions for achieving a good agreement. He wanted to hear my opinion. I will not hide from you that I expressed general skepticism regarding the quality of any agreement with Iran. But I said that if an agreement is indeed reached, it must include the elements that are very important to us — from Israel’s perspective — and in my view, not only Israel’s. It is not just the nuclear issue; it is also the ballistic missiles and the Iranian proxies. That essentially concluded the discussion, I would say, although it of course also touched on Gaza, the entire region, and other general matters.

Ukrainian forces have tricked the russians into giving them serial and owner data for the Starlinks that they can no longer use but are trying to re-register in the names of Ukrainians. Not only can those units now be rendered useless by blacklisting but Russians were so stupid as to give their locations as well. |

⚡Germany is moving to shield its defense industry from dependence on China — and even the US — as it ramps up military spending. Officials are probing supply chains over fears firms are too reliant on China for “gunpowder and electrical components,” and are even reassessing US ties in areas like fighter jet support. China’s rare earth export restrictions exposed vulnerabilities, with “95% of the country’s firms” sourcing rare earths from China. Germany is now considering debt-rule changes, raw material stockpiling, tax incentives, and new partnerships to diversify supply chains. As one industry leader put it: “Those who produce security in times of global tension must not allow any ambiguity regarding the origin and availability of their inputs.”

⚡France is close to quitting the €7.1 billion Eurodrone program, calling it too big, too expensive, and poorly suited for high-intensity warfare. Paris is negotiating its exit with Germany, Italy, and Spain, who want to continue, but without France, the remaining partners estimate it would cost them over €700 million extra to proceed.

⚡Danish firm Rockwool sends 600 million rubles to All-Russian People’s Front. Danish company Rockwool transferred 600 million rubles to the All-Russian People’s Front, the firm’s press service said. The funds will support Russian SMO participants and their families. The money is to be used to buy buggies, ATVs, communications equipment, reconnaissance drones, and electronic warfare systems. The company also said it plans to resume cooperation with Russia’s military-industrial complex in the coming months, a relationship suspended in 2022. Rockwool A/S halted work with the Russian defense sector in spring 2022. The policy shift followed a January 13 decree signed by President Vladimir Putin placing the company’s Russian assets under external administration. All Danish-held shares in Rockwool’s Russian subsidiary, including its plant in the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, were transferred under Russian control. A representative of the All-Russian People’s Front confirmed that negotiations over similar donations are ongoing with other major businesses, though no company names have been disclosed.

Scorpio99:Your obsession with me is starting to be very concerning. There's never been any point on this thread where I have discussed or argued with anyone here, irrespective of geopolitical leanings, on the issue of Nigerians fighting for Russia in Ukraine. I have never even broached the subject matter for any reason, because I don't see the necessity in arguing with fellow adults over the choices of other adults. No nigerian fighting in Ukraine was hypnotized to do so. Whether via proxy recruitments with incentives or false promises of luxurious benefits, it is ridiculous for anyone to sit down and cast aspersions on Russia for recruiting willing Nigerians and sending them to the warfronts. That those soldiers are dying is not something I should waste brain cells ruminating on. As far as we are all concerned, there are citizens of an estimated fifty countries fighting on both sides of the divide, so making out one side as an object of silly criticism, just goes to expose the bias of anyone doing so. That said, you'll do yourself a lot of good getting me out of your head, cause that unhealthy obsession is the only reason you're lumping me into your mention on an issue that has never even had my involvement in any capacity. |
