We were rubbish but you see that Martinelli miss? That’s what cost this game. He should be scoring that and not playing it like an amateur. Na Wetin Dey vex me with Martinelli be this. Letting the team down when it matters the most. If Eze doesn’t work on himself, he would be sold by next season. It’s that simple. Saka had zero impact and Madueke should have stayed on. |

I’m still not sure that was football Brentford played tonight. Long throw-ins as your main attacking weapon and everyone is applauding it. Arsenal didn’t help themselves either cheap fouls, needless free kicks and corners made Brentford look far more dangerous than they actually were. Take away the set-pieces and those throws, and Brentford look like an average side and very reminiscent of the old Stoke City approach in today’s Premier League. |

MSGAMBLE9:Raya tried his best considering how poor the defence was today. Raya was the only reason we came out with a point from this game. There's ni thing Raya could've done against those imposing Brentford players who were swarming our box with Mosquera falling off every now and then. |

AAA593:That is why I don't listen to any nonsense rival fans say about we winning games with corner kick or any form of set piece. Brentford could've won the game with the same set piece they are all condemning and most rival fans would've applauded them for a job Weldone. I don't care whether we win with hatrick of corners or penalty kicks, I just want them to work out wins every match going forward. |

BlueRayDick:My own is what sort of training are these guys going through that makes them go on injury every two weeks, they're even sharing it amongst themselves, once one person comes, another goes |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 12:19am On Feb 13 |
Shegzdave:I don't think training is responsible for their injuries, they have just been unfortunate with injuries in recent times. Injury is normal in football especially for players who play quite often. No team will set a training regimen that will cause players injury and make them unavailable to play when they are challenging for a title. Methinks the fact that we've been unlucky is the reason why fans are coming up with conspiracy theories that maybe it's the training that causes injury, but it's not. We are further being undone by our squad players who have refused to step up when they are called upon. Eze and Mosquera didn't give a good account of themselves today. |

MSGAMBLE9:Madueke can't last 90 minutes bro. He was already tired which is why he was substituted. I am a big critic of Gyokeres but he played his heart out yesterday. A big improvement from recent showings. My own na why Rice and Zubi no dey shoot. Frustrating lads |

Fkforyou:Bro.. I was so angry. He did that rubbish against Forest too. Just chip the ball or dribble. Keeper was already sliding to your left ffs |

BlueRayDick:Was past season unfortunate too? Players are dropping every GW and you its unfortunate, arsenal aren't the only club affected by injuries na Most of our injuries are during training and you say unfortunate Norgaard hardly miss minutes for Brentford he was their captain sef, he hardly play for arsenal but always injured. You and I know one or two Players that featured in yesterday match won't be available for Wigan and even wolves. Is that unfortunate too? |

mostob:I recall that after that match, Arteta benched his papa the next game. Today, the players let the coach down. Arteta wanted to win by all means. For example, look at Saka when he came on, he could barely trap the ball nor mark his player. Again, its this type of game Merinos' clutch moment would have made all the difference. In our home game against them, he was the one that broke the ice and destroyed them with an assist and a goal. Hervertz presence was also missed in the middle, at least, Eze would have come on in the 80th minute like he normally does and not that stinker that he gave for 45 minutes of which it was what gave Brentford the confidence that they could take a go at us. |

iamoyindamola:Has there been any evidence that suggest the training regimen is responsible for their injuries? What data do you have that give credence to ur claim that our players' injuries happened during training? Saliba didn't play yesterday because he suffered an illness which has nothing to do with training. Saka suffered a hip problem during our pre-match warm-up in that Leeds united fixtures leading to him being sidelined till yesterdsy when he had a cameo appearance. Havertz didn't play for 5 months because he damaged his knee on the opening day of EPL this season. Did that have anything to do with training ? Trossard was forced off in our match vs Sunderland due to a calf injury which has absolutely nothing to do with training. Merino suffered a foot fracture in our match vs Man united which we lost 3-2. All of these are facts agreeing with my position that we've been unfortunate with injuries in recent times on match days and not during during training like you claimed up there. Like I told shegzdave, I don't think any coach be it Arteta or any other person would set up their training regimen so hard that it will make players get injured almost every training sessions especially when they are challenging for a title and could use all available hands (or legs) . Just recently Pep's team was plagued with injury that saw his backline depleted and his team was practically struggling to get their shiiit together. I know u have a lot of things against Arteta (which I think is ur right as a fan), but from my own point of view I seriously doubt Arteta will knowingly sabotage his own efforts with training regimen that will cost him key players in a season he's expected to either win a major trophy or forever tagged an underachiever. Right now we need our squad players like Eze, Madueke, etc to live up to expectation when called upon. |

BlueRayDick:As there haven't been proof to tag it unfortunate because majority of the injuries happened during training not during match. I haven't even mention arteta and you are already helping me out |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 8:43am On Feb 13 |
iamoyindamola:I have listed a number of recent injuries that happened during the match and not during training like u claimed. Oya I challenge u to mention the "majority of injuries" that happened during training and let's juxtapose with those that happened on matchdays. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 8:49am On Feb 13 |
BlueRayDick:Apart from odegaard, Madueke and kai no other injuries happened in a match Gabu was international Saka, norgaard, mosquera, Hincapie, kepa, rice, dowman were training I am not sure of Merino |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 9:10am On Feb 13 |
iamoyindamola:Saka happpned in the warm-up to Leeds game; it was a hip problem. Merino suffered a foot fracture in our match vs Man utd. Mosquera was forced off with an ankle injury in our first leg win against Brentford Hincapie picked up injury in our 0-0 draw with Loserpool. Rice picked up injury in our match vs Brighton which had him sidelined for weeks. All these are regular starters who picked up their injuries in matchdays which has nothing to do with any training regimen. If you have data to support your claim that "majority of injuries are during training session" please do not hesitate to share so we can all learn. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 9:43am On Feb 13 |
iamoyindamola:I literally debunked all the names u listed out by telling u the exact match they picked up those injuries u claimed they had in training. I listed our regular players who have ben recently injured and mentioned the particular games they had their injuries. You can't be saying majority of our players are injured in training when information available on the open internet says otherwise. That you think it is the training regimen that caused their injuries does not necessarily make it so. Personal sentiments are not facts. |

BlueRayDick:Personal sentiment for what we are seeing but you will tag it unfortunate There is no single MD with no injury |

iamoyindamola:So u are agreeing the injuries are happening on match days and not training as u claimed earlier ? |

BlueRayDick:Did norgaard, kepa play any match and got injured or did any player got off injured yesterday? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by BlueRayDick: 11:16am On Feb 13 |
iamoyindamola:Below is your initial post tackling me when I said we have been unfortunate with injuries iamoyindamola:You said most of our players' injuries was during training which I disagreed with. I have gone ahead to share with you a list of our regular starters who have picked up injuries in different matches and not in training like you claimed earlier. You mentioning Kepa and Norgaard has not in any way change the fact that most of our players picked up their injuries on match days and not in training. Like I said earlier, no reasonable coach will set up a training regimen that will cause his key players to always get injured in training. It just doesn't make any logical sense. You may have issues with Arteta and his methods, tactics and results, but the fact is nothing suggests that his training methods and cause our players 'injuries. It is a mere speculation that is not backed by verifiable data. |

When we need Havertz the most, he got injured. Such a shame. |
