Oba Kadir Adebara of Jebba: Kwara Oba Who Refused To Bow To The Emir

Oba Kadir Adebara of Jebba has not received a kobo as salary from the Kwara State Government since 2003.

His crime? Refusing to pay homage to a Fulani emir in Ilorin and insisting he is a Yoruba Oba, not an emir.

Jebba was once part of the Old Oyo Empire. Today, its traditional ruler remains defiant but abandoned.

Many now call on the Alaafin to visit and restore the dignity of a Yoruba throne the system tried to silence
