Fasting doesn't hinder elections.Emilokan and his cohorts should allow a level playing field by accepting e-transmission without being mischievous and manipulative.

They should even pity the fasting Muslims and Christians and allow them vote from their phones. After all, the same people can vote Big Brother and there is no transmission error. The US election has been compromised because there is no registration or accreditation.Nigeria has voter ID, America does not have. Lent is a period when many Christians fast and it will run from Wednesday, 10 February,2027 to Thursday, 25 March, 2027.

Ramadan is a period when many Muslims fast and it will run from the evening of Sunday, 7 February 2027 – Monday, 8 March 2027.

According to INEC, Presidential and National Assembly elections will be held on February 20, 2027, the Governorship and State Assembly elections will be held on March 6.
