⚡The U.S. military is preparing for the possibility of sustained, weeks-long operations against Iran if President Trump authorizes military action. According to US officials the current planning is more complex than in the past scenarios and could involve strikes not only on nuclear facilities but also on Iranian state and security targets. They also expect Iran would retaliate, potentially resulting in prolonged exchanges of strikes and counterstrikes.

⚡AOC: There’s no conversation about Ukraine that can happen without Ukraine. We shouldn't reward imperialism. I don't think that we should allow Russia to continue or any nation to continue violating a nation's sovereignty and to continue to be rewarded.

⚡Zelensky: Trump wants compromises. We made a lot of compromises, Putin and his friends, they are not in prison. This is the biggest compromise that the world has already made. We accepted a ceasefire, Putin refused.

⚡For the first time, the Indian Air Force (IAF) will send three Qualified Flying Instructors to train British Royal Air Force fast-jet pilots at RAF Valley for two years. Indian instructors will train RAF pilots on Hawk T2 and Texan T1 aircraft while remaining under IAF command.

⚡The United States will produce and deliver roughly $15 billion worth of military equipment to Ukraine in 2026 under a NATO program financed by European countries, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte told PBS. “They’re delivering to the tune of a billion euros a month. So that will be about 15 billion for this year in dollars, and 12 billion in euros. Critical lethal and non-lethal [equipment], including the [missile] interceptors,” the NATO chief said.

LordAdam16:I still don't think she has a hand in the kidnap of Maduro though. You said it yourself, what is she to do, there not much she can do than to cooperate with America. remember Maduro was ready to cooperate with America anyway and do oil business with them may be even more than what they are getting now, but they still went ahead to kidnap him to flex muscles. |

⚡Rubio: Deindustrialization was not inevitable. It was a conscious policy choice—a decades-long economic undertaking that stripped our nations of their wealth and their strength. Mass migration is not—was not—and is not some fringe concern of little consequence. It was and continues to be a crisis, one that is transforming and destabilizing societies across the West.

⚡Sergei Ryabkov stated in an interview with TASS that BRICS is creating an alternative to everything that the US can shut down "at the push of a button" and is aware of the risks of pressure from the US. "I think no one underestimates the risks associated with American policy ,both sanctions and tariff pressure. But this doesn't mean that everyone is ready to succumb to pressure and, in fact, to dictatorship." |

⚡Rubio on the world order: We do not need to abandon the system of international cooperation that we authored, and we do not need to dismantle the global institutions of the old order that we built together. But they must be reformed. They must be rebuilt. For example, the United Nations still has tremendous potential to be a force for good in the world. But we cannot ignore the fact that, on the most pressing matters before us today, it has offered no real answers and has played virtually no role. It could not solve the war in Gaza. Instead, it was American leadership that freed captives from barbarians and helped bring about a fragile truce. It has not solved the war in Ukraine. It has taken American leadership—and partnership with many of the countries represented here today—just to bring the two sides to the table in search of a still-elusive peace.

Alamkiir:here are the reasons why i say rodriguez conducted a palace coup a. she is the most powerful chavista after maduro and who personally stood to benefit from his ouster b. she ran the most powerful portfolios -- finance and oil. she was the de facto prime minister c. she pushed almost all of the major reforms post-covid and was publicly and privately celebrated as the reason for venezuela's resurgence d. her brother is the powerful head of the legislature and her brother picks the supreme tribunal magistrates (their equivalent of supreme court justices) e. she was at the center of almost all energy related contacts and negotiations with the americans under maduro f. she was a major figure negotiating a deal between the yanks and maduro preceding his kidnap g. she does not control the military or internal security directly but she got them all in line with a phone call nobody that powerful will be blindsided by a kidnap of her principal maduro wasn't just ready to cooperate he was already cooperating and he liked the results of it the chevron deal ended hyperinflation in venezuela https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperinflation_in_Venezuela orchestrated by rodriguez the reason why the yanks wanted maduro out even if he was willing to improve relations with them is because maduro is the venezuelan equivalent of mao he has the socialist pedigree, he has the credentials and he would have red lines motivated solely by personal conviction rodriguez is the venezuelan equivalent of deng xiaoping a pragmatist extraordinaire chavismo is a means to an end for her maduro would not let oil sold by the americans go to the genocidal state like it wasn't when he let chevron in rodriguez doesn't give a sh*t same way mao was fiercely anti-zionist but deng established informal contacts with the zionists deng was still pro-palestine but he prioritized the technological gains he could obtain through the genocidal entity maduro would not break relations with the axis primarily because he is a firm believer that the axis geopolitical position is morally correct every other benefit is extra rodriguez considers relations with the axis foremost as a counterweight, leverage, and a vector for internal security guarantees she does not give a sh*t about multipolarism or degrading the hegemony -Lord |
