Kaduna based Journalists arrested and imprisoned for criticizing the then Kaduna State Governor.Their names;Midat Joseph with the Leadership Newspaper;Luka Biniyat (with crutches in Kaduna Prison)of Vanguard and Joseph Dickson with the Authentic Newspaper.

This is Bashir Ahmad,a resident of Tudun Wada neighborhood in Kaduna city.He was a strong critic of the Kaduna State Government and Governor.He was abducted from his house and taken to a torture forest in the outskirts of Kaduna Abuja road in 2017.He is still alive in Kaduna to tell you his story and his experiences in the hands of those who tortured him and other victims he met in the dungeon.His abductors were not bandits but masked security men under the direct orders of the Kaduna state Government.He has not permitted me to share his number,but everyone knows him in his neighborhood.

Dadiyata was an outspoken critic of Kaduna State Government and Governor and NOT of Kano State or Ganduje.He is from Kaduna and lives in Kaduna with his family.Everyone in Kaduna knows the critical views of that young man.He was abducted from his house on the 1st of August 2019 in the Barnawa neighbourhood and his whereabouts remains unknown.Since his abduction,there was never an official statement by the Kaduna State Government and no official visit to his family.Everyone in Kaduna was afraid to talk about Dadiyata including the Police and the state house of Assembly.The family of Dadiyata are still around for anyone who wants to hear the truth directly from them.

Very rich coming from a man who did the exact same thing when he was governor. I have lost count of how many people Nasir harassed both with police and the courts, chased out of the state and even out of the country when he had access to the security apparatus. Does he think we do not remember?

My first instinct is to say, kun fi kusa, to say this is chickens coming home to roost, that you are experiencing karma for all the people you persecuted when you had access to the security apparatus and could harass people with police and the courts. But I love democracy more than I dislike this hypocrisy and will say, while reminding you that you did the same thing, that no one should be harassed because of their views or opposition to the government, even you. Because human rights are not for decent people alone.

ElRufai said they are planning to arrest him soon. ElRufai arrested everyone who criticized him in kaduna. His critic Dadiyata who was abducted in front of his wife and daughter disappeared till today without trace. The oppressors of yesterday are now comrades.

Where is Dadiyata?

ElRufai should be investigated for confessing to tapping NSA’s phone after EFCC and ICPC are done with him. The security agencies should also investigate ElRufai’s self confession that it was Ganduje who abducted Dadiyata and not him.

Adeyanju Calls on EFCC, DSS to Investigate El-Rufai Over Corruption and Insecurity in Nigeria.

I call on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Department of State Services (DSS) to immediately investigate former Governor Nasir El-Rufai over allegations of corruption and his handling of insecurity during his time in office. No one should be above the law. If there are questions about financial misconduct or abuse of office, he must give a full account, and the relevant agencies must not succumb to any form of blackmail or intimidation.

It is strange to hear claims of political persecution from a man whose administration was repeatedly accused of silencing critics. Several individuals who spoke against his government, including activists, religious leaders, and public commentators, were reportedly arrested, harassed, or intimidated. The unresolved disappearance of one of his prominent critics, who was abducted in front of his family, remains a painful reminder of that era and must not be forgotten.

Furthermore, the DSS should investigate reported claims that his government engaged in controversial security arrangements, including allegations that payments were made to violent actors. These are serious issues that go to the heart of national security. For the sake of justice and accountability, both he and anyone found culpable must be thoroughly investigated.

I agree with you not because I was a victim of his brutality but because his leadership style is poisonous for a multi religious and multi ethnic country.

I only pray that some day half of the havocs Elrufai did in Kaduna will get to the public domain and he will have to pay for all his crimes against humanity.

A tyrant who presided over tyranny in Kaduna State is talking about oppression and harassment.

- Dr John Danfulani, suspended, arrested, and detained for criticising El-Rufai

- Nasiru Jagaba, arrested for protesting El-Rufai's policies

- Adamu Abdullahi, arrested for retweeting a tweet about El-Rufai

- Barak Zebedee, arrested for WhatsApp comments.
