If Davido thinks Sophia leaves Imade with nanny regularly like he did with his deceased son, it is left for Davido's lawyer to make that point known to the judge and convince the judge that what happened to Ifeanyi was a tragic incident that could've happened to any child even when the parent is around.

Unfortunately, Davido didn't stay cool enough to allow his own lawyer counter the point raised by Sophia's lawyer. The moment he lost his cool and let his emotion shine through he bungled the case for himself and made his lawyer's job very difficult.

You calling the lawyer's card despicable doesn't make it so in the eyes of the law. If it was, Davido's lawyer would've raised an objection to his client answering the question and the judge would've sustained the objection ; but that didn't happen.

I don't think any reasonable person should support Davido going after the lawyer on social media. If anything, he should go after his ex baby mama who employed the lawyer to do everything legally possible to deny him joint custody. Davido's anger is misplaced. This is not a case of beating a child and telling if not to cry.

There are senior lawyers who have been reprimanded in court before by young judges. Imagine such lawyers coin non social media to talk about how they've been practising law before the judge finished law school.... Blah blah.... I mean imagine someone like Afa Babalola getting reprimanded in court by a young judge and he comes to social media to start calling out the juste and his family. It's a no no.

The Sophia ain't innocent and known to be drug addict, davido wasn't even around when his son incident happened but one lawyer used it to score some cheap point and riling him up is okay.
People think losing a child is something they can use casually against the person in a court of law that's why I called the judge shameless for allowing such.

He initatiated a completely unnecessary court case. If you initiate a court case especially a civil one, your character is going to be dragged in court, because in the end it comes down to if you can be perceived as a responsible person.

Someone whose son died under his roof, who is chasing OF thot, who is always in the news for the wrong things has no business going to court to drag for matters like this.

Custody battles can get very ugly, and hitting below the belt is fair game, if he wasn't prepared for this very obvious shot e neva ready.

ifeanyis death is not a blow below the belt
it is a very saleint point, particularly as we have not seen any behavior modification on Davidos part

This one don tay na, I'm surprised many people are just hearing about it now, during the COVID lock down a lot of loans were packaged as grants and many Nigerians fell hook, line and sinker for them. A link was sent to me from NIRSAL microfinance bank to access a 'grant' of 1million naira I talk for my mind say 1million naira GRANT? and dem tell me dem no hide am? A dead dog was smelling. Eventually the NIRSAL agents persuaded and coaxed many of us then into going ahead and taking those loans disguised as grants. I only needed 300k so I took 350k out of which I paid 50k as 'egunje' to the agents... after about a year I randomly scrolled through my phone documents when I saw one repayment plan pdf file I downloaded while processing the loan, on reading it I discovered that we were to pay 13k monthly for 3 years to offset the loan, we even had Nirsal account numbers for this specific reason. Omo I transfered 100k to them and called everyone I knew to beware, but in typical nigerian fashion they laughed me out of the room grin

said I too dey fear, govt money go go just like YouWIN and SURE-P bla bla bla. By 2023 after Master Strategist was sworn in the clamp down began, my guy called me around 2am weeping and wailing about 500k debited from his account, more calls and gnashing of teeth followed in the coming weeks, many ran to Fintech banks and were seemingly ssafe until the CBN KYC directives were introduced to these banks, as long as your BVN is there you cannot escape, they may leave your account for even up to a year then one fine morning them go wipe am grin

we are not talking about adult videos where men are knacking the young babysitter. i am talking about hiring an actual professional child minder, one who is vetted, one who has managed children for wealthy families before, not a bush girl from the village who has never done the job before and does not have children of her own. you keep on forgetting that for a billionaire money is no object. same way a billionaire will not manage a 15m luxury car when a brand new luxury vehicle is available to him, is the same way a billionaire should not be putting his children in the hands of untested , unknown small girls who are normally using you for training for a bigger future client.

a person with davidos resources should not be leaving these things to chance. unfortunately when you are not an actual adult, you will ensure your jewellery clothes and ride are certified, while leaving things like your house and child safety and child custody case to chance

If you go to court and be getting all emotional, you will just make your opponent lawyer's job too easy.

Whether Sophia has vices or not is immaterial. Davido was the one who sued Sophia for custody so if Davido feels Sophia is unfit to take care of Imade, then let Davido's lawyer argue that in court. Sophia's lawyer will not do the work of Davido's lawyer.

Sophia lawyer has done her job by portraying Davido as unfit to care for the girl because a child that was previously in his custody died due to parental negligence.

The judge didn't rule on Davido's emotional outburst but the point Sophia lawyer raised in court.

See, there's no room for emotions getting the better of you during cross examination because the opponent's lawyer will do everything possible to use Ur emotion against you. That is why you have your own lawyer to prepare you well ahead of time about possible questions you may face and how best to answer them without arming the lawyer cross examining you weapon to score points against you in front of the judge.

Davido dragged Sophia to court to get judgement against her for joint custody. So Sophia got a lawyer whose job is to prove to the court why Davido should not be given what he seeks.

So the lady raising the issue of Ifeanyi is very relevant to the case even though it seem morally inappropriate, but it is a valid and legal point she raised. The child was deceased at a time Davido and his wife were not home and the the child was in custody of a nanny. If Davido has joint custody of Imade, there will be times Davido will have custody and he will have to leave the child in care of nanny like he left the late Ifeanyi. The lawyer is exploring that argument to argue against Davido's case which is not in any way illegal.

Morality and law are two different things. Calling the lawyer and judge shameless is just a mere opinion which doesn't change anything for Davido as far as the case is concerned

Normally Davido insulting the lawyer is another law suit on its own.. Defamation and will cost him money
