They used to have such option before.

But since last month, Geegpay now forces you to convert your funds to naira before transferring to your domestic bank account. Once the money is converted to naira, it can only be sent to a naira account. Unlike before when you could move it in dollar without converting.

Please, I just joined up work today and I noticed that even to verify identity, connects are needed for that. I haven't gotten any work . I can't even send proposals or bid for work as a newbie.

Please, what's the best option to atleast earn so that I can buy more connects and send more proposals as I am still new on the platform.

Also, what's your best advice for a newbie on the platform please?

I have opened my upwork account for a over 2years. I left it and I just want to start using it again. I have never gotten any job. I submitted a proposal for a job, I had to pay to buy some connects. Please can anyone assist on how to go about getting jobs or I would have to be buying connect anytime I want to submit a proposal for jobs?
