A president that cannot address the nation for 30 minutes from his head. Always playing hide and seek. This is the aspect of Tinubu administration that I hate most. What is he afraid of. Powerful indeed. |

damble:Scared of which North? Did you see how Boko haram was handled under his watch? Odi village nko? Then you dare not touch a soldier. Today, armed forces are advised to travel in disguise. Generals are slaughtered on video and nothing happens |

damble:Obasanjo is Nigerian's greatest president no cap. Even if you give him power now, he'll still push some mad moves that'll reset the country. |

Fekumzi123:And that was his undoing. And that's why he must rig in 2027 to remain in power. |

If Tinubu was powerful as claimed, how come we still have bandits and terrorists scattered all over the country |

SisterAnn:Can you list them please? IPOB have been around for a while, so has MASSOB, ESN and Boko Haram. Instead of just saying a number, that you most likely pulled out of nowhere, at least back it up by stating the names. Per the thread topic, I don't know about President Tinubu being the most powerful because Obasanjo had some clout himself as well. I would say though that President Tinubu has been blessed with the most disorganised and useless opposition ever in Nigerian politics. So betting that is bad in itself. |

Fujiyama:Every former president can have an excuse but because its Tinubu, THERE CAN BE NO EXCUSES, funny. FROM WHAT ELRUFAI RECENTRLY SAID, It's becoming very evident that powerful individuals FROM THE NORTH are behind terrorism. Imagine one individual having the capacity to tap the phone calls of the NSA, what is left of security? Whether you accept that the president has tried or not, we will go out there to defeat terrorism, AND YOU AND YOUR ENTIRE CAMP WILL BE PUT TO SHAME. |

7upnigeria:^^^ No. You'll have to find whoever it is that's accepting excuses from former presidents. It certainly isn't me. 7upnigeria:^^^ But... But... Tinubu went to London in 2023 to talk about his plans for Nigeria. Instead of speaking for himself and addressing the audience directly, he delegated responsibility to other people under some ridiculous concept of something he called 'teamship' (whatever that means). ![]() There is a bitter irony in this: the very man who BAT delegated to speak on security at Chatham House is now considered a security risk by the administration. This raises serious questions about BAT's judgement.7upnigeria:^^^ ![]() This is an (unnecessarily) emotional response. |
