demstone:I swear. I'm not a big fan of him, but I saw the vision of this road right from the inception because of a trip I took.to Togo like 20 yea ago I still have a vision of driving along their coastal road in my head...nature on the right, and beautiful hotels on the left. Even Tinubu's opponemts know this thats why they wee figjting so hard to srop the project. People will understand soon. |

| Re: Whale Spotted On The Beach Along Lagos - Calabar Costal Highway by richmond500: 11:11am On Feb 15 |
EbereGod:u should rather spend more time on animal planet, whales are slow moving but distort water current, sharks are fast moving but water remain still Also sharks are low divers and hardly surface except in a feeding frenzy and their movent when they surface area fast with side to side movement of the fin, whales on the other hand surfaces more often but mostly calm with ripples on around them. That is a whale, not a shark |

Putindbutt:You mean the primary purpose of the Lagos Calabar coastal highway that's gulping trillions of naira is just so that we can have access to seeing fishes in the ocean? |

| Re: Whale Spotted On The Beach Along Lagos - Calabar Costal Highway by EbereGod: 11:56am On Feb 15 |
richmond500:You are correct by behavioural context and it's unfortunate you didn't expand on your research, this is a big damn shark! I watched the video, the triangle dorsal fin sticking out of the water, No blow spout visible, NO BROAD BACK OR TAIL FLUKES ON THE SURFACE, this one swim with often with its fin and its slim back visible. The swim is CLASSIC SHARK BEHAVIOUR. And NO, being a fast moving animal is WRONG, it depends on what the animal is doing .Whales often look slow because of their size, not actual speed. Many large sharks are lazy cruisers most of the time as well. Again, Sharks can be fast when hunting BUT when cruising or patrolling, they often move slowly and smoothl. If it were a whale, we would almost certainly see more body mass or a blow in at least one frame. Resubscribe your DSTV

MONEY247:Why are you always full of pessimism on any good news shark spewing out water from its nostrils? |
| Re: Whale Spotted On The Beach Along Lagos - Calabar Costal Highway by EbereGod: 12:11pm On Feb 15 |
BabaO2:Where did it spew water from its nostrils. What has pessimism has to do with this?! MONEY247 is right to the marrow, that's a big large probaly white shark and NOT a whale. |
| Re: Whale Spotted On The Beach Along Lagos - Calabar Costal Highway by richmond500: 12:24pm On Feb 15 |
EbereGod:u don't need to show me these pictures. Btw, now that I look at it more, I feel it's a shark, I was confused by the slow movement and the sheer size of the part, so I felt more part was in the water. I was thinking it's a whale but the fin was confusing |

Awoleesu:Climate change has led to a vast change in the migratory patterns of these deadly sharks. Areas that NEVER had shark attacks are recording more insidents such as in the Bahamas Island. |
