Some of us Christians really need to get serious.
Valentine's day is set aside for people in a romantic relationship and there is nothing wrong with that.
It is so different from John 3.16.
I mean, why should we always mix things up? As Christians, the goal is not to always look stupid? We can recognise and appreciate a day in which husbands, wives, and anyone in a romantic relationship choose to celebrate without mixing it with John 3.16 and confusing everyone.

Why would a picture of love depict violence? A gory picture of a white man being tortured and dripping with blood should not be symbolic of love. That image is not child friendly (PG), but rated 18. It will not be allowed on YouTube or Facebook, but then religion is not supposed to make sense.

My brother, this explanation you gave is the corruption of the love St. Valentine lived and died for.
It's not about romantic love but pure love seen in married couples. The love that's not feeling based first but a decision.
The romantic love is meant to proceed from the agape love, that selfless God kind of love, otherwise it's just lust.
That's why so many people get involved in uselessness and call it Valentine. It's an error.
No man of God ( St. Valentine was a Catholic priest) would do anything to encourage a day to mark or do immorality. No way.

Yes, because God didn't create us as robots. He gave us free will. So we have the right to choose or reject him. There is no compulsion with Jesus. But whatever you sow, you will certainly reap. If not now, certainly later.
There is a law- WITHOUT THE SHEDDING OF BLOOD THERE IS NO REMISSION OF SIN. So it's blood for life. Sin demands a price, death, the Bible says the wages of sin is death.
So Jesus came to satisfy that death price of our disobedience, so we no longer have to sin because we are no longer indebted.
Thats called Grace.
We can live without planning to sin, but should we fall into sin as weak humans we still have His blood to cleanse us as we repent and plead He forgives us.
Notice I said PLAN TO SIN, a Christian cannot intentionally sin or He deceives Him/herself and takes calvary for granted with consequences.

It's only a matter of time.

St. Valentine's sacrifice was based on Jesus' sacrifice - The greatest love of all. We too like St. Valentine are called to so live.
It's better not to judge any one else. We are all on same race to make heaven. We are not struggling against one another but against the lying forces of hell.
So we need to encourage one another and not look over our shoulders at how others choose to run their race.

So based on that action of his, you can forgive from your heart and have and give peace.

Many of you Christians just like to misbehave. That's why you have lost the ability to touch souls.
The bible recognized the love between husbands and wives.

The sacrifice of Jesus wasn't made to please any man or made to satisfy a man's whims. It's the wisdom of God. But you are free to accept or reject Him. And bodi go tell you later.

I stand corrected. I assumed that because I attempted to post some war scenes and was hit with the no violence, no blood restrictions, I assumed it would apply also to the crucifixion. I was wrong. It seems religious stories are exempted from youtube and Facebook policies.
